i don’t think it’s bad enough to be rsv, he’s still playing and we get the odd smiles just wants to be constantly held and wheezing. We’re not sleeping tonight because he’s crying constantly unless he’s sleeping between us

My cold turned into a chest infection which is why I wanna ring docs first thing so he can have medicine for Xmas if his becomes one too

honestly awful lol
Had about 4 hours sleep in 3 days and a very very sad and clingy baby

He’s been given antibiotics and an inhaler (just to help his breathing, they don’t think he’s asthmatic)

I’m just glad Ellis is off until Friday now so I have a bit of help for the next few days because I’m barely functioning

My little man has been so spoiled, so many toys and clothes for Christmas! I got Ellis a bunch of TCG stuff he wanted and headphones for his pc, and he got me a new gaming chair ;w; I’ve never actually had my own so I’m super excited. Plus I’m getting a second desk in the office soon (as a PC, two cricut machines and a printer don’t all fit on one!) so it’ll make it easy to swap between the two

I hosted Christmas dinner and it was so magical. Everyone really loved my cooking and the best part for me was everyone went for seconds on my homemade mash, even my mum who doesn’t normally like it XD

Took 4 roasting trays, 8 pans and 2 days of cooking but it was absolutely worth it and I’m so glad my family has let me take on this responsibility <3 being the one to host the family Xmas is such a dream. And my dad showed ellis how to carve a turkey and said he’s a natural :p

Had a nice simple NYE with Ellis and Forrest, yesterday my sister Becky came over and the three of us played card games which was so funny it started to hurt to smile XD

Back on the work grind now, and I have my rheumatology appointment tomorrow, dad's coming for dinner on Wednesday and Forrest has a baby class on Thursday so no rest!

Very very busy few days. Trading at a mini market today at a pet store so I’m excited for that

Rheumatology cancelled on me a second time after I’d had the measurements done and been waiting an hour for the consultant to arrive so I tweeted the health trust and they sorted me out another appointment for 2 weeks time

Forrest has started moving a lot more lately and is verrrry close to both crawling and sitting up on his own

Looks like your little man is starting to feel better, which can only be good news.

Glad that everything went well for Xmas dinner. This year was the first year that we DIDN'T cook for everybody, but went over to my son's for their first time at hosting, and it went really well.

Yeah his wheezing seemed to finally go a few days ago, now we're back to lots of playing and trying new foods!
We got a weaning kit that Ella's Kitchen do which has a big chart we can fill in so i'm putting that up in the kitchen today

In other news - my front room officially looks like a room!
My cousin gave me a sofa and armchair just before Xmas and now we've got a nice big rug in there so it's a lot cozier. Every room is pretty much done now, we just need to get more shelves and storage when we can afford it because the Nursery still has a lot of stuff stored in there
