Makes sense. ^.^ How long do you think it'll take to finish reading it? Like, off the top of your head?
it depends on how long it’ll be. JN club just picked it up and it has ten parts for the first volume. 2 parts are translated so far. I know there are like 4 volumes which means at least 40 weeks if not more. As for reading them when they get translated each week an hour each time.

Oh, I didn't remember you said it's a translation. It sounds nice to have an escape like that. It's really awesome when something like that goes to show that reading can be just as immersive as a game, if not more than. ^.^

There are many options that are just as immersive or more immersive then games.

Did you know Chris is short for Ingris? The gris part is why

I could see that, both with a lot of things that can be as immersive and Chris being short for Inglis, thinking about it it makes sense. I didn't know that though, learn something new every day. I love learning the etymology of names. I don't really know why though, it just makes something more interesting to know what the meaning and origin behind it is. ^.^

Are you actually in Japan btw?

I've forgotten a lot of what I knew and I wasn't really that good with it to begin with.

I had a roommate who is pretty good with it. On top of that a lot of the Japanese knows English good enough that I never really needed to learn it. Learning the written Japanese was more important.

They do? That's honestly unexpected. I've always wanted to learn the written language but with my memory I'd be doomed to fail from the start. >.< It's pretty encouraging though to know that English is known by more people there than I thought, definitely makes me want to visit at some point. It most likely won't happen but I wish I could. Was learning the written language more difficult or more important? Or both?

Well signs are written in Japanese so you at least need to recognize those. It doesn't take too long to figure out what's what. But it isn't like you think of these signs in Japanese, at least I didn't. I just pretty much associated them with words I already knew. So I could read not write.

I mean I did take 2 years of Japanese in college. But that was quite some time ago. Further the work schedule I had made my attendance poor for my Japanese classes, so I barely got a C in those. -_-

I suppose I passed but I took them because I wanted to learn Japanese. But work did pay for the classes, so I guess it was fair that they made me work when classes were being taught most of the time.

That's pretty awesome. ^.^ Although it's not so awesome about your attendance suffering because of work, especially since you have to make money some how to pay for them in the first place. Still awesome though.

How was the day for you in your part of the world?

Sundays are normally quiet here and this Sunday proved to be the same.

At least it's quiet though. It's way worse when it's loud.

Indeed, my Monday will be busy and loud, they always are.

I had time to write up a new RP. I read some earlier today. Right now the weather is quite nice outside. Just finished cooking so I'm going to head out and enjoy a meal in the nice weather.

It was stormy this morning, but it came and went fast. Just a little drizzle with some thunder in the sky the state is still under a high fire warning so we really need the rain. The snow cover we had melted so fast it caused all the issues and no rain/snow.
