Is your nick a spoiler for Ascendance… ?

No it isn’t. Ferefire added Lord to my name Friday last week.

Lord Myne wrote:Since you can get a kindle app on your computer, you can download all of your books to it. So basically anything that has a connection I can download a copy of my purchased books.

Provided the Kindle app doesn't have a function (like many games) that it will stop working whenever the company who owns it wants it to stop working (or alternatively it needs to access a server and when the server is unavailable, the app doesn't work).

It works offline with no internet. But Amazon clearly states when you buy their books you own them.

I’m not sure what format Kindle books are in. Okay Kindle books have their own unique format.

Chances are slim for Amazon to go out of business. So I should be fine. My only issue is so far I’ve preferred to read actual books, they take up lots of room, I don’t usually or want to sell any of them.

The Kindle books have exclusive content too. Another marketing technique that’s despicable.

I can’t even buy these books except for a Kindle and some of them sounds interesting

Well, you don’t need a Kindle to read Kindle books.

Besides I already have 60+ books on Kindle. I’ve had them for years.

I really want to read the rest of the Ascendance of a Bookworm series.

On paper back the third LN just came out, in Ebooks the 5th will be coming out on the 20th of this month, 12 days after the third came out for paperback, basically 6 months ahead since light novels come out once a quarter.

I’m sure I could acquire them much sooner if I didn’t believe in paying for the books to support the author and others that makes the books possible.

Is Bookwalker faster than Amazon?

EDIT: No, it says 20th as well on Bookwalker.

I just finished reading part 1 of Ascendance of a Bookworm, Daughter of a Soldier volume 3

I bought Ascendance of bookworm part 2 volume 1 on for my Kindle a few days ago, since I’d have to wait until April to read the paperback version when it comes out. On the 20th of January the 2nd volume of part 2 will be out. After which I’ll have to wait until April for the 6th book. Still the Ebooks are 2 books ahead of the paperback books.

There 20 books out in Japan, I can’t say I’m not jealous at the moment. Still it would take time to catch up. Besides there’s plenty of other good reads while I wait. I suppose one bright side is there at least 15 more books coming out xD.

It makes sense they are the same. If they weren’t huge court battles would be taking place because of unfair marketing stealing business from others.

I’m headed to my sister’s home to help fix an electrical problem in her house.

Several rooms are without electricity apparently.

Outlets seem to work but their lights aren’t.

That’s an extensive road trip. She lives an hour drive away, 2 hours by bus.

I fixed the electrical problem she had, one of them anyways. Others are old ways of wiring homes which don’t work in modern houses.

Yesterday I just watched older anime which I hadn’t seen yet. The one was fairly interesting. Later today I’ll watch Bofuri. I read it’s based on a LN. Unfortunately I can’t find it anywhere.

So my sister’s house is old.

It appears she and her husband still has a lot to do.

They’ve replaced the windows. Next thing there going to do is the power box and wiring.

They have fuses, not switches for each circuit in their home. I think it’s been 70 years since they put those in homes. The house is over a hundred years old and didn’t originally have electricity.

Technically my dad owns the house but my sister is making payments to him.
