Hello everyone

I wanted to start a little journal just about me starting cosplay my first one will is this Saturday already had some ups and downs so it should be fun. I will be doing other cosplay's which might not be anime so I hope that's okay.

I may talk about random stuff as well as I don't want it to just be limited to cosplay.

This Saturday I'm going as Ken Kaneki most things were going well got my costume and yesterday got some black Chelsea boots. I'm going to get some black nail varnish today.

The the downer for me is I tried to put the contact lens in Sunday(My first time doing it) I must of been a bit heavy handed as I end up scratching my retina so now I can't use it. Which is really annoying but I will be posting pictures of the day. I can't wait!

Hope your eye will feel better soon. Contact lenses can be tricky at first, best to go see an optician who can show you how to do it safely

I had my eye checked out and atm they just said it's a scratch and gave me some antibiotic drops to put in my eye and it's feeling better now. Tbf she did pretty much laugh at me as i was really worrying. Said it should be fine soon. I checked all over youtube to see how to do it first before I tried but couldn't stop blinking. Well defiantly go to optician if I plan to do it again.

I'm more annoyed that I can't put the lens in now as it will being missing from my cosplay. But a friend said that when in full gear he doesn't always have the black and red eye. I think he is just trying to cheer me up.

Hello people really sorry for not coming back had some things gone on in life.

What I can say apart from sweating like mad I loved it! I am tbh abit anti social to new people I meet and my friend said that happening when the first group of people ran up to me, I'm no good at new conversation lol. He found it hilarious but after that I think I got better when people asking for a photo. I definitely want to keep going with cosplay but it's hard to find more characters for someone who is bald and has a beard haha. I did have a favourite moment I was just standing around but as one eye was covered I couldn't see everyone and my friend pointed out a young kid who had seen me and couldn't stop waving or doing the Ken Kaneki finger click. He looked really happy and kinda brought some joy to me as at that time I was dying with the mask on. I think I just need to gain more confidence as I keep going.

I didn't take may photos but when I get home i'll upload the one or two I got.

It's pretty hard for a bald dude with a beard as I tend to go for things with masks and a wig I was thinking about going as overhaul from my hero or a generic attack on titan person not an actual person for the anime/manga, I could try Keith Shadis from attack on titan but don't want to shave my beard again for a while.
