It's kind of a hispanic mishmash, so I don't think anyone would expect a UKer to know Mexican food very well. It's a good combo though, if you get some tortilla chips and heat that baby up, mishmashes like that are reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal good.

Especially when I make up stupid names for it

Also *insert random mix of mexican-ish ingredients* is good for making tasty lazy food, so I tend to do that for myself a lot.

Three burritos, chorizo and eggs and my schmorgasbord from thursday and sour cream and salsa. Now that's a fucking breakfast. I could only eat two.

I had mushy peas for dinner. They were good.
Yes I'm simple, but simple is about all I can manage atm.
Funny that I hate peas but I somehow like mushy peas. Weird.

Oh I managed to watch some anime over the last few days. Omg I know? How shocking! XD
I watched episode 1 - 5 of Sasaki to Miyano. I am enjoying it thus far (the manga is still better though of course, but the anime is cute too).
God damn Sasaki is just too precious I can't stand it! X3
Love the side characters too. It's just an all round good anime imo.

Mushy peas don't seem too appealing just by expectation of the texture. I do like split pea soup. Especially with bacon bits.

Come to think of it I think I have some dried split peas. I should make some split pea soup. I think that's one of the things I bought one time thinking I'd make something and be healthy and have good homemade food and then I'm lazy and never do it.

That's technically everything I need!

Ok, I'm gonna make instant pot split pea soup with ham.

Only thing missing from this recipe is bay leaf. I should buy some bay leaf. But for right now I don't care. Let's do this.

Alright, pressure lid is on. Let's see how it does.

So today I made mushy peas!

The texture isn't quite as bad as I thought though I still wouldn't choose it. It is, however, exactly the flavor I wanted. It was perfectly seasoned out of the pot without having made any adjustments.

I don't know, mine was pretty good.

Today was a fucking rollercoaster. I was scheduled to spend 7 hours working on project E and I think I actually spent like 2. The day started off with me dealing with an unexpected change with a new batch of devices from China that turned a 3-hour estimate for the problem into a 60-hour estimate and we ended up sending an email to their sales guy that was somewhere between a "hey what the fuck" and "please help us". And then everyone and their mother wanted me for little things and I didn't get to the project I'm actually scheduled to be doing until the afternoon.

Still on target, but just barely I think.

For dinner I went to a cafe and had a pineapple jalapeno burger. It was good.

Gonna make spaghetti!
Turn on faucet, nothing comes out.
Ok.
Pizza and beer then.

Office is closed already. Hope it's just maintenance I don't know about and my water comes back on within a few hours.

Apparently the energy company broke the water main in my area.
