Well I've broken my glasses so many times that they weren't wearable anymore. Bad part about having seizures. x.x So, I'm currently wearing some that are 10 years old, give or take 1 o 2 years. They're so crappy. So sight isn't a high priority that's really possible with these POS things that probably strain my eyes more than normal. >< I always see a little double of what I'm looking at, it's just not as pronounced as it is without my glasses. Without them I can't make out people's expressions or even if they eyes are open or closed. And I am not being dramatic, I'm being precise. That's the actual gravity of how bad my eyesight is without any glasses. So I'm trying to be careful with these ones even. So sad. lol Being careful with last resort, old glasses. XD It's always been like that, even in school when I wanted to sit in the back of the class and I couldn't see what the teacher wrote on the board in the front of the class until I got my glasses. I can't believe they've gotten worse, but they might've. x.x I hope I don't go legally blind as I get even older...

Sad thing is eyesight always degenerates. That's why most many (if not the majority) of elderly people have glasses, even if they didn't need them most of their youth.

Wearing outdated prescriptions is not good - asides from issues seeing, it can cause faster eyesight damage, and cause migraines as the brain struggles to process visual info.

I know it can be expensive, but getting new, even cheap, glasses with an up to date prescription would be the best bet.

Jeez, that's pretty bad. I've been wearing these last resort glasses for a handful of years by now. D: This is such a bad time to do it but I'll try to push for new glasses. Wish I would've researched the effects but I just didn't really think about it. Crapola that's scary to find out! Dx

It varies person to person, so try not to worry too much, but yeah. The human body degrades as it gets older - much fun! There is a significant chance there's minimal change - between my last 3 prescriptions of 10 years+ I've had hardly any change. (Heck I'm wearing my 'old' glasses now, despite having two pairs with slightly/fractionally changed prescription, mainly as the new glasses don't sit right on my head without always slipping off xD (and I have the rubber holder thingies that go on the arms already, but working in a kitchen, it gets sweaty, and then they start itching). xD

That does get annoying. XD That's also a relief but I do need new glasses anyway because even the most recent pair that I accidentally broke by having a seizure was probably 5 or so years old. Maybe 4? (doesn't make it any better when I come to and find out I broke my glasses by falling on them on the way down or when my head hit the ground XD - you tend to fall over like a tree since you're rigid from what I'm told since I couldn't really see myself having one) But I keep forgetting to remind them and there's a bunch of other stuff that we need too so I don't really think about it. ^^;

Ohh, but it'd be fun anyway. I'd like to cosplay but I wouldn't even know where to get the materials. >< It looks like it really would be a blast though. :D Especially being with friends! ^^ But if I was by myself I think I'd try to be a perfectionist with the measurements and aesthetics. ><

Cosplay is fun, but I usually buy mine lol

It's also more that when the character doesn't wear glasses, you keep having to take them off for photos XD

Yeah, that would probably give you a headache after too many times of removing your glasses then putting them back on too. x.x

Nah its more annoying lol

When you've just had a picture you put them back on, then someone wants another pic, you take them off and it continues lol

Its why I like it when characters wear glasses l, but I don't pick them do I XD

lol There was one with glasses that was really awesome, Sheele from Akame ga Kill. I legit thought her name was pronounced Sheila like how Australians say that when talking about a female (or they used to, I think?) So when I heard how it was pronounced in the anime I was pleasantly surprised. ^^ One of the best characters I've ever seen. Akame ga Kill's characters dying so much was so tragic. It broke my heart with each one. ):
