How've you been Elgood?

Apart from my little accident on tuesday night, not too bad. just working lots of late shifts with no end in sight (but at least i get a morning on tuesday so i can do nepflix and chill).

so yeah, tuesday night on my way home from work someone hit my car. they wanted into the lane that i was in going around the hardwick roundabout (it's a big multi lane roundabout) so without looking the tried to get into my lane and hit the back of my car. i've got a huge dent in the driver side rear of my car and a tonne of scratches and lost paint on my wheel arch. the damage is only cosmetic cos the car still drives fine but the annoying thing about it is the other car didn't stick around to swap insurance details or anything. they just drove off. I've since installed a dash cam in my car and it's funny. the moment i did that it's like other drivers know i've got one cos they leave me the hell alone.

Im glad it’s only cosmetic but oh my god! At least the damage is only cosmetic and it’s been a harsh lesson to get that dash cam, so if anything does happen in future that’s worse than cosmetic you know you can see who it is. sending you positive vibes darling

Good plan getting the dash cam. I hope it doesn't happen to you again but if it does the dash cam will be worth every penny.

I didn't buy a dash cam i figured i have a pretty good high res camera on my iPhone X so i searched the app store to see if i could find a good one to use since i have my phone in a phone holder attached to my car windscreen anyway. It's called Smart Dash Cam and it's not too bad. it records video when the car is moving but embeds the video with date, time, speed i was doing and my location and once your where ever it was you wanted to go there's an option for it to automatically upload the footage to a google drive or dropbox or even straight to youtube.

Ah well that sounds just as good to be honest if it does the job

Actually yeah, the weekend's been not too bad. work sucked but then it always does and i got to stay up saturday night to watch a little AEW wrestling as it was their Full Gear PPV this saturday, but....a little while ago i set up my facebook profile to be on Facebook dating (yeah its actually a thing) and usually all i get is matches with the "fake" profiles with a pretty asian girl hiding their face behind their phones as the photo and them wanting you to add them to Whatsapp so they can try and get you into some kinda cryptocurrency piramid scheme. but a few days ago i matched with someone and i think she's genuine. we've been talking quite and bit now and i think it's going well. not gonna get my hopes up though incase i'm being catfished or something but you never know

yeah I like the yakuza games, almost as much as I like the Neptunia games.I finished Yakuza Zero and I’ve almost finished Yakuza Kiwami. I plan on playing all the Yakuza games in order and buying Kiwami 2 next because the main story is so good and each game continues the story and Kiryu is a character you can really get invested in. But when Yakuza 3 remastered is £15 on steam and I saw it in Cex on ps3 for £6 I though it was worth saving a little money and playing it on ps3 when I finish Kiwami 2. I’m also replaying Yakuza Zero on my twitch channel. I think @likklemel watched a bit of my play through of chapter 1 and I’m probably going to stream chapter 2 this weekend (possibly on Sunday, I haven’t decided yet).

And now for the really long post. So so far this year I spent January out of action. I’d put my back out at work picking up a packet of cigarettes off the floor. I could hardly move and it took me three weeks before my back got better. I still get the occasional twinge but I have a back brace which helps with that.

In February I met the love of my life Niamh. I have numerous profiles on dating sites and was about to give up and delete them when Niamh sent me a message out of blue. We sent messages back-and-forth for a little while and then on the 12th of February we took the plunge and started Dating. We’ve been together for two months now and it’s the best thing that could’ve ever happened to the both of us. You know they say when you meet the right person you just kind of know it’s the right person, that’s how it was with me. It was like I instinctively knew this was the woman I was supposed to be with. Niamh is 48 so she’s a little older than me but I don’t care about that, age is just a number. She lives in Colchester but originally she’s from Dublin. She has two daughters, Hannah and Anne-marie (but she likes to be called ammo), both 21 Because they’re twins but they’re not identical. I’ve not met them yet but I’m sure I will soon.

Finally last month I made an important decision about my work. With is the cost of petrol going sky high, I decided to transfer from the asda in Swaffham to the asda in Kings Lynn (which is where I live). My last shift at Swaffham is this Saturday. And then on the Monday I start at South wootton. I’m gonna miss everyone at Swaffham with the exception of one person, I won’t give her a second thought, but it’s not like I won’t see them ever again. We’ll still go out for drinks and stuff they’ll just be my friend now and not my work friends.

And that’s pretty much what happened to me so far this year.
