Unexpected absence from the internet last night due to problems with the switch over from Virgin to Vodaphone. Ended up rebooting the new hub a few times before we got connected in the early hours of the morning. Still got problems with the phone connection.

Just had to share these.

Christmas is just around the corner, and Lily wants to know what's going on.

Curses! Some generous person has shared their virus load, and I've got a stinking head cold/mild flu. Hopefully, I'm starting on the road back to reasonably normal health. With tomorrow being Black Friday I'm pulling 4 hours overtime, but that's going to be a loooooong day with my head in this state.

But then I would miss out on about £100, so I went in and survived the Black Friday Hell.

I dip out of the forums for about 2.5 hours to watch Flow drill videos, and there has been literally zero activity when I return.

I'm going to join this general inertia, and won't be online tomorrow as I'm off to a Christmas Market.

Good news...maybe.

My initial contract is due to finish in Feb, but I have negotiated to stay on indefinitely, and with a few more hours per week, so that should see me through to retirement unless there are any major changes to my health before then.

Really not feeling it today.

The Senior Instructor at my TWD club literally begged me to go training last night because he needed me to take the youngsters whilst he did a welcome and induction for some new adult students. I was originally not planning to go, as training started at 6 and I was at work until 5.30 and it is at least 45 minutes from work to Dojang. I managed to swap some time with another colleague, left early and drove like a maniac to get there, only to find he had changed his plans and the new students weren't coming. He did it so that he could "train rather than teach" for once. I wouldn't have minded if he had just spoken to me and we could have fixed it for a day when I wasn't working in the afternoon, and I could have had a proper lesson planned other than the basic one I was going to do with the kids. The result was an improvised lesson that satisfied no one, and made me look incompetent.

On top of that, I got about 3 hrs sleep last night before an early start this morning.

Sooooo tired.

So they changed the class and didn't tell you till after t' fact? I hate it when people do that.
