It's not been the best of starts to a new year

My mum was in a minor car accident, someone drove at her and caught her wing mirror, but she was severely shaken up. Then today she's been put on antibiotics for a chest infection. She has asthma and vasculitis, so a chest infection is far more worrying in her than it would be to me. Was really hoping this year would be better for her

Hope she gets better soon. I've been in a minor accident in my car, my kids were also in the car too so I was in total shock and sobbing like mad. I'm glad your mum isn't hurt though, it's just a shock to the system isn't it.

Yeah such a shock. I was in one years ago when someone drove in to my brother. Only had bruising but I flinched everytime someone was coming out of a side road for like months after. I hope you and your kids were ok after it!

Hey Teeny ! It's going well, slower getting everything decorated and ready to move in to than I anticipated but I'm happy with the progress. We're hoping to officially move in next weekend
We've finished decorating the bedrooms upstairs, we're just waiting on the carpets to be fitted on Monday next week then it'll be completely done. Actually wallpapered a whole wall yesterday! Actually quite proud of myself, it doesn't look too bad!
Still left to do: Paint the upstairs landing/hallway walls and the wall down the stairway. Wash and paint the downstairs hall. Wash, paint and paper (one wall) of the lounge. Eventually we'll also decorate the downstairs toilet and kitchen too
So yeah lots to do but most we can still do once we've moved in. We've also got the couches being delivered on the 21st

Good morning, friends
Good news the house is coming along, Pixiedora . Sucks that it's slower than you were hoping for, but everything does when it comes to houses
Have you been up to much else, or is it 100% house focus??

Morning J! Yeah, I think I just underestimated how long each step would take

Have to admit it has been very house orientated, but I did go to London on Sunday for another Day6 gig
What about you? How's things?
Hey Luffynatsu87 yes that is very true! I finally have internet too so that's much better!
