I promised lolin that I'd try and post once a week minimum to reassure her that I'm still among the living. ^^;

There's a lot that's been going on lately, my husband quit his overnight job (that he hated) so I could work more full time and further my career in retail while he takes care of our girls and does a podcast with one of his brothers on Warhammer 40k. Speaking of my job both my managers have decided to put me on the relay crew for our store's remodel starting in July which means I'll be working Mon-Fri from 4am to 1pm (in theory) along side other employees, temp hires and even corporate will be there helping set planograms back up around the store. It's going to be hectic and probably annoying but I look forward to the learning opportunities it'll bring. ^-^

Last week I had to take my cat Abby to the vet, she started showing signs of being sick the past few weeks and I found out that she has an extremely high thyroid most likely due to her age (13 years) and it's driving heart failure/fluid in her lungs. The vet has put her on two medications to help draw out the fluid in her lungs and to hopefully balance out her thyroid.

I'm trying to read more usually during my lunch breaks at work or at night before bed. The current book I'm reading is called Th1rt3en. It's really interesting and if you enjoy murder mysteries, I'd recommend you give it a shot.

I want to go back and read the first book in this series called The Defense, I didn't realize it was a series when I bought the book.

The girls are doing good! Guen's excited for summer to start since my mom has signed them up for swim lessons.

How are Theo and Abby doing?

I miss you too ;-; Do you still have the same phone number? I forget that I have it until I'll randomly remember but then I get distracted and forget to text you.

doing good over here too! theo will be going into the third grade this year, and hoping I can get abby into tuition pre-k at the same school theo did. she will be 5 in pre-k

I'm sure Abby will have a lot of fun in pre-k, does she have any neighbor kids that she plays with or just Theo?

I thought about putting Val in pre-k but the timing of it didn't work out but I think she'll be ready to start Kindergarten next year since she won't be 5 until middle of January.

I get the same way, everything feels overwhelming more often lately but I'm not sure why.
