🌸 It's time for me to have a heart to heart in my journal. 🌸

I'd like to first start off by saying a massive thank you to the Enterance Lounge team, without their support I wouldn't be able to share this.

Throughout my whole life, I've always known I've been a bit different, I never wanted to conform to the standard but I had to cause of the way I was born.

Being born with what you know is the wrong body emotionally hurts, you never feel comfortable, and when you don't have anyone else to talk about it with, you feel isolated.

A lot of things have happened over my life, some which I don't feel like I could ever share, simply because they are just too painful and personal, but I don't think about them anymore.

Fast forward and as of Janurary this year, I finally accept myself as transgender (MtF), it wasn't easy to talk about it to anyone, but I finally let it all out to my doctor, and once I did that, it was like so much weight had been lifted from me, it felt amazing.

I kept this secret for so long from my family cause I was never sure how they'd accept me, but when I told my mum, she wrapped her arms around me, said I love you, and I accept you, and you know what, hearing those words made me feel so happy, I cried, I was no longer in pain anymore.

I've been doing reseach, talking to the doctor and I've been referred to the local transgender clinic for support, but from what I've been told it's at least two years before I will get to have my first appointment, so my journey has a while to go before it can start properly, (I'd like to start HRT).

This past week I finally talked to the enterance lounge team about myself, and it was such a massive relief to be able to talk to more people about it, the team have been so supportive I can't thank them enough, and it's cause of their support I have been able to post this.

I have also updated my first post to reflect my updated journal.

Thank you cutie for taking the time out of your day to read my journal, you're wonderful
