Well, what an absolute f***up of a day. Lots planned but nothing got done after a phone call from Mrs Oji at 08.15. "I've broken down!"

I got home 5 hours later, having driven out to her location, given her "my" car to get to work, and then spent 4 hours waiting for the recovery truck.

It's December, and did I mention I'm old? Well, it could have been worse. It could have been raining.

Hopefully, it will be fixed on Friday, and life will return to normal.

You're only 65, you're a Spring Chicken compared to some folk.

Just finished watching "The Eternals," and it left me with a few questions.

In Guardians of the Galaxy V2, Ego identifies himself as a Celestial, and that he was alone in the cosmos, and he travelled by creating a spaceship for his construct to travel in. He was anchored to a planet, and killed by a bunch of enterprising entities with no "superpowers."

These new Celestials seem to be a lot more common. Can travel by warping space, and require the combined talents of a whole group of superpowered immortals to even contemplate being defeated.

Different much?
