I hope you get the chance then! Is it far up north?

Agreed!
Though, as much as I complain about work I do love my job.

==========

I dropped out of my chorus group, mostly because we still do not have a start date for second shift
On the flip side, second shift means 10% pay increase
Did the estimates and this means I'll have everything but my house paid off by May
This means, I probably need to get quotes for replacing a failing retaining wall finally
I wanted to wait until I had my last big house repair paid off
Also, pushing back my plans for a new car until after the wall is fixed because if it fully fails it will land a lot of dirt and rocks on the cars soooo no need for a new to me one first haha

Farm land and close to the horicon marsh so aways from the city. It's pretty quiet and no city light which is nice to look at stars and the moon.

The other week, we had temps in the mid teens, and when I finished work on Monday night I was scraping ice off my car windows. I wish Spring would really get started.
To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

So i think if you work overtime there is an increase in payment so you can do that so you buy new car which one you want to buy ?

i would rather not work overtime as work is already too stressful during the hours i have to be there
for the new car, most likely replacing my old jeep with a newer jeep
the car has treated me well, so might as well just upgrade it

Thank you!
I hope I get one too

=====

Been trying to learn a new game on boardgamearena, crafting the cosmos
Fun little board game, but a bit of pieces to keep track of
Which makes it more fun to try online where the computer tracks the tokens for me

Work still hasn't given us a date for the shift switch
I also waited too long to apply to an open spot in another area on my current shit
They closed the posting before I could submit
Oh well, will keep looking

Last nights job was an easier one though!
Finally got a break from the problem program that is MELCO and got to return to some of our ORION items
From my spot, much easier program to deal with

One of the cats had a vet appointment today, she's okay but had to get an antibiotic shot
Eevee is a good old girl but she sometimes gets these cysts and they don't seem to pain her but the shot should help the latest one clear up easier for her

The eternal "If/but question"

Overtime seems great, but the way you feel afterwards?

Anyways, congrats on getting everything paid off. My mortgage is cleared in 2 months, and we have no other long term debts. the 40 years of work are finally paying off.
