If you feel that people have not changed over the years, you yourself have not grown enough.
That is a fact. You will not be the same person you were, such as your personality; your views, and attitudes can change over 10 years.

If people are going to be hostile towards you, accept that they have not changed. There is no need to beg for their attention to show them you have grown. If they refuse to see it, they're not worth your time.

Just a bit of insight.

Update: Got in, finally did my tests and took care of whatever holds were on my account. I start my first class this coming Tuesday. Our professor hasn't even put up what book we need, so I emailed him yesterday and he gave me the materials we needed.

I know I'll definitely be needing a TI-84 or TI-83 calculator. I hate math.

first class was a drab.

It's literally going over the basics the first week and reading through the syllabus. Sigh, a bit annoying but I guess it's okay to just go over the basics.

It's alright for now! I feel like I should buy an additional book or study guide to help me with math, like an Algebra I for dummies or something.
Started my Learning Framework class, which is basically learning how to study and set up yourself for success in college. Just did this long ass essay on summarizing how I learn and what strengths and weaknesses I have, and whether or not I'm set up for success. Needed to be more narrative than answering in Q & A type of style, which was really hard for me. I'm not the greatest at telling stories, I'm very matter of factly.

But I made it through! Let's hope I get 10 points
