Oh. lol One of those. Godspeed, Maki. xD I'm never good at coming up with tactics but I get how frustrating some battles can be. I've had a lot of rage quits. lol

lol I know how it is. You'll beat the game sooner or later. Did it once, you can do it again, right?

How's the day so far btw?

Live From The Killing Game [MakiChan]

Ohh lol ok, now it makes more sense. I remember the first time I played FFVIII as a kid, I leveled everyone up to 100 because I had a simplistic understanding of "higher level means better characters" but it never clicked how the Junction system could make a party invincible (or almost anyway) so I kept fighting a level 100 Griever. I kept losing, and it got to the point that I just asked mom for a Gameshark because I heard about it and saw a friend using one, so I was that obsessed with winning since it was my first playthrough. rofl It was kind of ridiculous how determined I was, but I couldn't understand how to utilize the Card ability and Triple Triad as much as possible like I understand about it these days. It's just funny how much determination someone can have when they've made up their mind about finishing a game. lol Hopefully you'll be able to win today though. :^_^:

Glad you're ok too. :) If I had it my way, all of my friends would never have to worry or stress about anything else for the rest of your natural lives.  But I don't have the actual ability to do that. lol I wish I did though. Why you all have the patience to put up with me is sometimes astounding to me because I know I'm not a person that's easy to deal with most times. :sweatdrop:

Haha I'll beat it eventually, I always find a way lol

Yeah Level means nothing in Final Fantasy VIII, but I love the Junction system and if you get the right magic in the right place you can be quite powerful, also one tip for Griever is to use Doomtrain, hell I used Doomtrain on all 4 stages of Ultumecia

That's cos you are my friend

Really? I just thought Doomtrain only worked on the human form of Ultimecia. As final bosses go though, she was definitely a challenge.

And thanks. :^_^: *BEARHUGZ*

Nope it works on all 4 parts of the fight, and they are all affected by Vit 0 which puts their defence to nothing, cast Aura on Squall and if you have it Lionheart the fudge out each form, 9999 every hit. I destroyed her this way

Okiez! But I'm planning on getting it on Switch at some point, and the re-release of FFVII too at some point. It's more fun when there's no Achievements or Trophies, it's refreshing to play something that doesn't have them for once. xD Honestly though as a kid I thought it was Defense that Vit 0 affected, not that it also affected magic defense, because I figured Vitality was a synonym for Defense. lol I don't really know why though, I just never thought about it that much. xD Thanks for the advice though, it'll come in handy. :^_^: I definitely never knew Doomtrain was that useful though for the final boss fight. Though I never was able to beat Sephiroth because I couldn't figure out a good enough materia combination. Well, and I never knew how to use the Chocobo breeding mechanic correctly. lol I was fighting with really the materia you find on the way through the story for the most part. Sephy always killed me with his Supernova attack. XD I had to use the Gameshark CDX to beat FFVII too. lol I was never a very good strategist. :sweatdrop:

It'll be awezome!! It's interesting how satisfactory a victory over a difficult to beat opponent can be. :^_^:

Doomtrain is fudging amazing, especially since nothing has immunity to Vit 0, he's just a bit annoying to get lol

Hmm, I can't remember what I used against Safer Sephiroth when I beat him, I know I had the ultimate weapons and Tifa had 4xCut and got the last hit on him and I didn't use Knights Of The Round

Actually I think I mimiced Tifa's 4xCut with the other two characters, so I was getting 12 hits per turn...although another tactic is to use Knights Of The Round and just mimic it

Yeeeeaaaahhhh don't remind me on getting the Gold Chocobo....that was a chore XD

And when I finally beat that boss I'll treat myself to another playthrough of the game XD

Hopefully lol

Although there is an option to make the game harder after you've completed it lol
