Stumbled upon this place and immediately got hit with a wave of nostalgia for older-style forums and places to hang out that weren't swarmed by politics and propaganda bots, so despite only really being a casual anime watcher, here I am.

So what to say? Mostly I'm just a grumpy old man in my mid-thirties. Occasionally play video games (recently finished the Dark Souls games, thinking of starting Divinity: Original Sin sometime soon), almost always listening to music (currently listening to Night Verses as I type this), lately I've spent a lot of time reading sci-fi & fantasy novels (currently reading the last book of Robin Hobb's Liveship Traders trilogy).

As far as anime goes, I recently watched Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These and absolutely loved it. So now I'm torn between waiting for the next season or just watching the 80s version, but either way I'm super hyped for more of it. Beyond that, my comfort-food show is probably Black Lagoon, which I'm also reading the manga for. I also like some of the Gundam AUs too and have built a few Gunpla recently (finishing up the MG Kyrios atm - need to stop being lazy and get the weapons done).

Soooo... yeah. I have no idea whether I'll be super active here or literally just intro then poof into nothingness but, either way, hi ^^

Casual or not, all anime watchers, manga readers, game players, book readers, figure collectors/builders and music listeners are welcome here. it doesn't matter if your not super active, but feel free to drop by, hang out and let us know how your inner geek is getting through life.

When we can stir ourselves up, there may be some competitions and events for you to enjoy, so keep an eye out even if you don't feel like posting much.

Heh, I know that feeling! Especially with anime, I always really loved the art styles and vibrancy of it, but so rarely actually sat down and watched a show. I should get around to trying Jormungand sometime.
