@Raiji Magiwind It does work - heres the code.

Code: Select all

[dropbox][option]"Hello World"[/option][option]I'm a dropbox Option[/option]

Interesting... That's what I was using for the coding, but for some reason, it was not parsing right to be a box like that...
Possibly one of the few glitches that had been acting up from the update maybe. Shall have to try it again later when I get home from work...

It seems there are a number of things which just had to be resubmitted, and perhaps that was one of them.

Another concern seems to be the signature character limit of 1000. So if you had a dropbox but more than 1000 characters then it needed to be resubmitted but wouldn't take because it was oversized.

I don't know that this was the case for you, but it may be.

Thanks, Mike.

That will probably cover the majority of cases.

I really don't like the user interface. I have never liked the mobile skin. And now the full site is just frustrating.

My apologies. I know you all worked hard on this.

Sorry for the hasty complaint. I actually like the mobile GUI now. Although the old full site is still my favorite.

I like the feature of the floating quick-reply box, but on my browser (Chrome, Version 81.0.4044.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)) only the top 10% or so of the preview and submit buttons functions while the quick-reply box is in floating mode.

Not sure if this is the problem, but the "dead" zone seems to coincide with the height of the chat menu box in the bottom-right, and when the chat is hidden (with the little arrow on the edge) the issue resolves itself.

It's not a pressing issue, but perhaps something to look into when the dust in settling.

Tis was probably the case, but who knows... though I think with teh old code you needed [/dropbox] at the end as well, and it seems with the update that ain't needed anymore...

Meanwhile, God bless on shifting avatars to the left in options...I was so used to it on the left, seeing them on the right felt weird as fuck....>.>

Avatars are now disabled for DustyAL when on mobile which fixes them showing at full size.

Noooooooooooooo I liked the way Dusty displayed on mobile.

*sigh*

Oh well, if there were enough complaints I understand. I'd just ask that you try to look into actually fixing it at some time in the future.

Not much of an issue, but I thought I'd point out that on the old forum the ALJ section was private (guests couldn't read the threads in there).
But now it's not private, therefore anyone can read the threads in ALJ. Is it going to remain viewable to everyone or will it be made private again?

Also the staff sub-forums for GD, CL and VG are viewable/readable to non staff members it would seem.
Again, just letting you know.

Is it on your account you're seeing them? I just double checked but it says both guests and registered users should have no access o_O I'll keep looking, if you could send a screenshot that would help so I can see what you're seeing!

That's deliberate.
