Images in the forum (cosplay section in particular)

Were they all pinched during the data breach last week?

It's a bit worrying that's all as there were some snaps of myself, all of which are on my Google Photos account but I still don't like pics of myself being used by people I don't know.

Can anyone from management discuss this?

Any public image would have been accessible by anyone. So it's pretty much irrelevant as anyone could access them. I find it extremely unlikely they'd care about public images.

Or do you mean something else?

The reason I upload snaps in the cosplay section is because I know it's only seen by people on here.

To be clear, it could be seen and downloaded by anyone - this is a publicly accessible forum to begin with. In theory they could get that, but it'd be doubtful that they would have any interest in it. The main thing they were going for would be personal information which they could use to potentially spam - such as emails. What we know they have is in the announcement. So I would not be worried about that - again it's not information that would be useful to them.

To be fair Richard Arts and Cosplay is Public to anyone even with someone without an account can see that section. If you post anything on the internet it will be saved somehow.

That's why fortunately, even I'd never buy a Tarzan cosplay (just a Loin cloth and not much else)
