Welcome to the Entrance Lounge Icebreaker Event!
A place to get to know other members and a chance to make new friends!

Good evening all.

Ojisama, or Oji if you're feeling lazy
I am NOT going to an Animeleague Con this month (but I will be next month)
Is there any item you take to a Con that is NOT part of a Cosplay.

Now to answer some questions.

@Teeny I have been to several Cons this year, and intend to attend at least 3 more before the end of the year.

@BigE I usually Cosplay as some sort of warrior. In the past I have been a Knight and an Dungeoneer. For the next few Cons, I will be a Samurai/Bleach Character.

@Teeny I want to Anime North in July. The only con even close to me. That if you don't include The Pretty Heroes Convention.
@BigE have never coaspled.
@Ojisama mt registration and ID. This year, proof of vaccination.

@BigE I don't cosplay so can't answer unfortunately.

@Ojisama I don't cosplay at cons but I wore a JoJos Bizarre Adventure themed necklace for yesterdays con if that counts and will probably continue to wear it at future cons

@Ttosk Valheim was the last game I played a lot of. Haven't really played anything for the past few weeks now.

I have a PhD and I just recently 100% the master chief collection after 8 years on and off grinding.
Newcastle in October will be my first convention like this, has anybody else ever volunteered at an event before. Did you prefer attending as a guest or volunteering if you've done both?

Hi @Stapose Welcome to Anime League!
I prefer to just attend as a guest, I've never volunteered, not something I am interested in doing.
I'm sure you will have a great time at the convention though whichever way you decide to attend
