A Dungeon Tale (Tales of a Mad Scientist)

[h=2]A Dungeon Tale [/h]
Outside the world seemed perfect with their prestein emerald green lawns and colorful flowers and well manicured bushes and trees that stood tall shining their bright green leaves to attract a bird to nest or even a squirrel. The humans themselves left their house by car or truck or bus or on foot to their perfect jobs or shopped with their girlfriends at the mall or went to parties without a care in the world, but even humanity had its darkness. From the vampire that lived in the darkest corners of the city that looked so much like New York and fed upon the homeless and those that were sick for he often visited hospitals to the werewolf that howled away in the forest that was at center and what surrounded the downtown city in the west. Even deep within the sewers things that go bump in the night seemed to slick more and more out at night, though wishing they could see the sun and soon small machine like things started to appear more and more within the sun, watching humanity and only interfering when they needed a new ginny pig or patient for better terms. All leading to the place where they were born and leading unsuspected patients into a place in which wasn't easy to find and was so well hidden humanity didn't even know it was around them.

The Dungeon

Hidden within the forest in an area that was well covered by brush and tree was an opening small enough for a child to squirm through was the entrance to a cave. A cave that wasn't well lit except for the glowworms that lived within there wasn't much to see but an open are with a large lake made from years and years of groundwater. A hidden spring that glowed from the glowworms that lived within. Soon a creature with a green face surrounded by squid like arms and a body that was blue with what looked like lung like breathers walked and dived within the water. Swimming down into the water it came upon a wall and touched and soon hole in the wall appeared and swam through it as the door closed behind, then swam forward toward the other end where a hole in the ceiling welcomed lite an jumped through. Above ground was a black and white tiled pool with bright white lights on all four sides of the walled in room, that held only a door. Stepping outside it started walking down the hallway. As it walked down the hallway it passed other hallways that let to more hallways in a maze of hallways where a mere human could open doors and find different creatures or dead ends that could lead them for being trapped forever. Deep within the dungeon there was a doorway that could close within a impenetrable door stood to vampires ready to defend their master to death was where the master herself lived. Within the room was a laboratory that held many objects of testing to test tubes and beakers to bottles filled with creature, internal organs and colored fluid that didn't look human stood the Master Herself.

Standing far enough away from a device that was large silver ball that was glowing with golden rings surrounding it and letting out small lightning bolts around it and hooked up to a large computer as it was making noise and talking to the smaller devices. A young women with bright reddish gold hair and emerald green eyes, dressed within a black and gold steam punk dress with matching goggles and a weird looking gun in one hand. Lifting up the goggles she smiled and turned as she heard the webbed footsteps.

"Ah there you are, did you find what I wanted." She asked with a small smile.

"Yes, Master I found the scientist you wanted me to talk to and he has agreed to supply us with the things you need without the athorities and or anyone else from finding out." The webbed person said.

"Good, soon we'll be having a little more fun, why don't you send out the bugs and mice we need more to experiment on then my plan will come into place finally." She said waving her servant off.

"Yes master." The webbed creature said walking away and leaving his master to her experiments.

The flies as they were called were small mechanical flies that looked like normal flies but were made of metal and oil and wouldn't die like the normal fly unless crushed underneath boot, but also shocked the idiot that decided to stomp on them. The mice were also mechanical and looked real and both fly and mice escaped through the dungeon going through cracks and crevices and also through doorways that led into the sewers within the city and toward the humans themselves. If not the sewers then hidden doorway covered in meshed metal that said, "Look out water gushes" that were openings to a medium sized creek that went through the large city park in the middle of downtown where the skyscrapers stood tall. If only the humans knew that lived below and from within.

For on the planet earth not everything was as it was or below for that matter or even that which went bump in the dark.
