Welcome to the Enchanted Meadows Public Library, a place full of all different kinds of books for your reading pleasure. The building is four stories tall, from the outside it looks like a vacant mansion but as you step inside, you discover that it is a warmly lit and vast library with lots of tables, comfortable chairs with lamps and computer stations for doing research or studies. Books are divided into various sections containing both magical and non-magical subjects. There is also a children's section full of picture books and random toys to keep little ones occupied. The library has been run by a family of witches for generations and is protected by an illusion spell along with a powerful magical barrier to keep any hunters and evil beings out though it would welcome any and all friendly supernatural creatures and those humans who can be trusted. The current librarian is a young witch who sits at her desk over in the corner of the library, keeping a watchful eye on it's patrons along with the help of her familiar, a male Gyrfalcon named Zephyr perched on potted magical tree branch that sat next to the desk.
Mira was sorting through a small stack of books at her desk and stopped to glance at the clock, it was nearly time for the library to open. They tended to keep odd hours due to some of their more nocturnal visitors, rising from her desk to do a quick survey to make sure everything was tidy and in order before walking over to the front door and murmuring words that removed the spell that kept the doors locked. Humming to herself as she stepped outside to enjoy the warm night air, Mira loved being the current keeper of the family's ancient library, she spent many hours during her childhood watching her grandmother and mother both look after it and now it was her turn. After about ten minutes the young witch went back inside the library to her desk, where her familiar and best friend Zephyr was dozing on his perch. Now it was only a matter of time before they'd have visitors.
A man slowly opens and enters through the door. He was of medium size, height average build, wore entirely black and shaded glasses. He had heard from somewhere about this library and how it was secluded thanks to a magical barrier. He is a person that is shy around others unless he gets to know them. Having a history of not talking to someone unless spoken to first. So he decided to check it out as a might be a great place to unwind and relax from the outside world.
*slowly walks through the door carefully checking his surroundings noticing the librarian and the gyrfalcon. He thinks to himself*
"Oh my God, I didn't think about what to do when I walk through the door what do I do now?"

Job: Guardian/Book Seeker
Gwen comes in after doing back gaurd duty's and wants to have a little me time, he notices the witch known as Mira and her familiar and nods to her as he is passing. His hawk, Milkia comes in and sits on his shoulder still eating the remains of a dead mouse, Gwen gently sighs and says" For Pete Sake Milkia how many times do I have to tell you not to do that it puts many people off, next time you do that I won't buy your favorite snack from the market". Milkia quickly gobbles it up and her head is down knowing he's not joking this time and would most likely keep the punishment up for a while as additional punishment. He use a little of his magic and takes some of the books out of his dimension storage, he does a check over as he is lowering them on to the desk gently and it's not long before four piles of books are neatly stucked on the desk.

IC: After finishing a good brunch of pumpernickel bread and coffee, Imp stood up, brushing the crumbs off her hands and smiled. "I think I should go see a library."
Imp sighed as she stepped out of the Curious Shop side door to find herself in another alley, this one dimly lit, someplace else in the world - or possibly another dimension, you could never be quite sure with doors in her shop.
"Don't wander off!" she warned. If she wanted to pass unnoticeable, wearing a band uniform of crimson and yellow with a bright yellow cape wasn't going to help. Of course, here the bright colors were a warning. While she ranked under sphinxes, neither one wanted to test that out.
With a sigh, she stepped into the library and made her way to the desk, giving a pleasant nod to Fate as she stood behind Gwen, peering over the guard's shoulder and sighing softly when she sees how many books he's put on the counter. This was going to be a wait.
*Fate still mean entryway looks around the library. Then unexpectedly he sees a section and is drawn to it. He doesn't know why but he can't help but be drawn to it. So he heads to a particular bookshelf within the section. Sees a big red book titled "Mental Magic for Beginners" he pulls it off the shelf it's much heavier than he had anticipated *
"Hey maybe this is exactly what I've been looking for!" *he thinks to himself he takes the book and sit down a nearby table* "I hope I can finally get over this problem with this"
Mira smiled and watched as three patrons enter the library, the first was a man dressed in all black with sunglasses on, when he didn't take them off she thought it slightly odd but decided not to make mention of it as he wondered off in search of books. The second person was wearing a guard uniform and he had a hawk sitting on his shoulder, her eyebrows rose slightly as he made four stacks of books appear on her desk. There was also a young girl standing in line behind him.
"Are you returning these then or wishing to check them out?" Mira asked the guard in an amused tone while her gyrfalcon Zephyr had woken from his nap and was currently eyeing the guard's hawk with avid interest.
"Woah.. Check out the pretty female hawk, wonder if she's single.." Zephyr commented through their private mental link. While Mira couldn't communicate with every animal, she did have the ability to connect with those who were willing.
"Don't even think about it.. The last time you tried to hook up with a female, it nearly got the library burned down." Mira replied dryly
"That wasn't my fault! I didn't know that phoenix chick had a mate!' the gyrfalcon grumped, while still feeling bad about the incident.
Imp sighed, and decided perhaps she should check the shelves as it looked like the guy had a ton of books.
It was always a good idea to check the new arrivals - and one caught her eye.
"Heroics for Beginners," she read aloud softly as she plucked it off the display shelf. "Let's take a look."
Opening the book at random, she glanced down the page.
“When men competed for positions of power, it was generally acknowledged that the ones who got it were invariably the ones who could least be trusted with it," the line read. Okay, this was a good read.

Gwen playfully laughs then says" These are to check in i found them while out and about, I'm sorry for holding things, you can put them aside and deal with the books later, maybe we can talk about some of the books over a bite to eat if not that's fine i'm not so pushy and such that i would want to make you feel un easy, i also think it would be good for Milkia to have others like her to hang out with, because she hasn't in a while". Milkia pecks his hand a few times some what annoyied he put it like she needs friends then flyies towards the exit, she would cool off in a few hours time. Gwen gently sighs and thinks 'crap i forgot it's a sore subject for her because she's been let down so many times and so much more'.
Imp's eyes suddenly crossed and just barely managed to turn her head before violently sneezing.
Grabbing a hankerchief from her red blazer pocket, she rubbed her nose, then glanced around, wide-eyed.
"S.... sorry," she managed as her cheeks began to burn. "Allergies."
Turning back to her book, she frowned. She only sneezed like that when people were saying mean things about her, but nobody was really talking in here. So why did she sneeze? Was it someone someplace else?
