THREAD RULES

This is an opinion thread. In this case, you expose your unusual/uncommon thoughts about anything k-pop related. Because it's an opinion thread, you don't have to take anything seriously or personally. So let's not have any fights here.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mine is I don't think artists like Niki Minaj and Selena Gomez etc should be involved with Kpop artists as I know it is trying to bring Kpop more mainstream, but some of the songs are lack luster and it is not like they are singing loads anyway just a verse or rap line.

(No hate against the artists I mentioned as I like both)

What do people think about conventions bringing idols over? Should it matter if they are controversial or if they are popular?

Justin Bieber's never been "cool" IMO, he was just some kid from Canada who had a YouTube channel that had a few Million hits.

Might sound unpopular but I actually agree with John Cleese's recent comments on the "Cancel" culture, like the fury from the left about 2 and half years ago about THAT Fawlty Towers episode purely because of the N word! It was 1974 for chuff sake, John's not daft, he wouldn't have written it into the script if he thought people would be offended.

More to the point, back in the early 70s comedy was a bit "un-PC", but nobody cared.

It is when the shows are shown now and there is a disclaimer at the start of each episode which is mad to think about
