What is SIFAS?
-The mobile game intended to be the next generation Love Live game, with all the bells and whistles you've come to expect from modern idol games.
Why are you making a thread about it?
-Announced all the way back in September 2017, SIFAS has been the subject of much controversy due to being delayed a whole year, a lack of updates from the developers, consistently dissapointing livestreams, arguably deceptive promotion, no concrete information as to the nature of the game and more. I'm making this thread to organize whatever tidbits of information we're given.
-This is also a discussion thread teehee
A QUICK RECAP OF ALL THE INFORMATION WE'VE BEEN GIVEN SO FAR:
>Nine new idols announced for a total of 27 including Muse and Aqours, who will also be present.
>New idols are meant to compete against one another and work solo a la idolmaster rather than as nine gal pals like we're used to seeing.
>The three groups will interact with one another, though specifics are still unknown.
>Nine new idols belong to PDP, or Perfect Dream Project, and all go to Nijigasaki High School. You, the player, also attend this school and will play a role in the story.
>Designed to be a new genre of game called "Rhythm Action RPG". We don't know what that means.
>3D dancing. Every song will have a nine member version of the choreography, somehow.
>The one year delay was officially reported to have been caused by optimization issues.
Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars
Re: Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars
Nine live show videos were uploaded, one for each Nijigasaki member. While we've seen small previews of the other idol groups before, this is the first time we've been shown live shows that feature the Nijigasaki members, as well as our first time seeing what the choreography for a solo song looks like.
Out of the nine videos I picked this one because it's a slow song that showcases the sharp mouth movements the best. They're a lot nicer compared to other idol games IMO. I highly recommend checking out the other eight previews on the channel, as they're only twenty seconds long each.
