Mines a cute little Zigzagoon, well that's what I encountered first :-) Don't fret, on the next route you can possibly catch a Shinx

zigzagoon's pretty adorable

i love how it actually zigzag's in OR/AS

and woo! shinx is pretty sweet, and it'd be good against two gym leaders

though i'd have a rough time with the first...

speaking of rock gym leaders, what's up with having so many be the first gym leader in the game?

I know right!!! I think they just love throwing that at you first. And Hoenn is worse I think, because they have fighting straight after. Where the hell am I supposed to get a psychic type this early in the game??

you can't get a ralts until the third or fourth gym, right?

Exactly! I mean come on...and then we go to electric then which isn't too bad, and then Flannery who is fire, but I have Mudkip, who is usually near a Swampert by this point so nice and easy.

the rest are fairly easy from that point on too

dad/norman goes down especially easily with that slaking

Yeah. Winona - just need an electric type, then the twins, just need a dark move and then Wallace, again electric can take him out mostly.

Yeah, I'm surprised they didn't do that with the Unova triplets tbh.

it would have had to have been much later in the game though, throwing that at you first thing would be pretty tough

Ha right? I know I'm quite surprised they didn't make them like Tate and Liza status, but maybe there was a logical reason for that I suppose.
