i like the technology and pacing of stargate episodes a LOT more

but i like the writing and philosophical topics in star trek a LOT more

and then there's star wars which is just a zany action sci-fi opera

doctor who doesn't count because it's not sci-fi it's wibbley wobbley sci-fi-y stuff
