Yeah I really don't know why. I suppose in comparison to the other regions, Alola didn't really have one, oh maybe the ultra beasts is the idea behind that? But come on' who doesn't like the idea of a certain legendary

Still seems pretty weird that he'd use a standard pokemon if everyone else has a legendary, though.

Also weird that they all have legendaries, if that is the case, too.
