Town of Salem Tournament Information
What is Town of Salem?
Town of Salem is a browser-based game that challenges players on their ability to convincingly lie as well as detect when other players are lying. The game ranges from 7 to 15 players. These players are randomly divided into alignments – Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists and Neutrals. If you are a Town member (the good guys) you must track down the Mafia and other villains before they kill you. The catch? You don’t know who is a Town member and who is a villain. If you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you secretly murder town members in the veil of night and try to avoid getting caught.
How can I play?
I picked this game for us because while the game is available on Steam - you can actually play it in any web browser that has flash! Click here to check it out!
Please note that this game is free ONLY if you have previously played before November 2019. If you would like a referral code (which grants some free games) please PM me!
So how will the tournament work?
Depending on the signups we get, i’ll be making custom games available on different times and dates, which people here can join in with freely.Considering some people may be able to join most of the games and some people may only join a few of them, the winning award will be decided via percentage of games won as opposed to points. For example, if you play 9 games and win 4, you will have a 36% win rate. There will also be other awards available.
When does this start and end?
Currently i’m planning to run this throughout the month of November (Although there will be a game or two in late October), but if this is popular we can easily run it more regularly due to the game being easily accessible.

Please also add “ensorcelledAubade” on the game so that I can invite you to games.
I will put up a list of game times after I have a couple of people interested in playing, and then people can tell me which games they would like to join in with. I’ll do a mention of these users approximately 30 minutes before the start time. Each game can have up to 15 players, so there should definitely be a chance for everyone and anyone to participate.
