"kaisan" == dismissed Yeah anything to do with Macross has trouble getting a western release. Even the early Macross episodes had to be licenced under the rebranded Robotech in the US. It's a real shame because I think you guys would have enjoyed it.

Spoiler: yes because amuro is probably somewhat autistic and loves the shit outta machines especially considering who built gundam. also it's anime, suspend your disbelief, pretend it's johnathan joestar pulling himself up a floor in his house with A GIANT METAL SPEAR stabbing him in the shoulder despite that being biologically impossible. suspension of disbelief is necessary for (probably) all anime because it's not like we're reading hard science fiction. this is giant robots fighting each other, it's inherently unrealistic because if you're going to build a war machine it's not going to be human shaped it's going to be a bomb launching metal gear if it's anything like that. damn i am snippy today and probably in no mood to post, sorry elgood
