Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. Living on Earth in 1995, she keeps having recurring memories of another life as U.S. Air Force pilot Carol Danvers. With help from Nick Fury, Captain Marvel tries to uncover the secrets of her past while harnessing her special superpowers to end the war with the evil Skrulls. This movie is very much what one comes to expect from Marvel Studios and doesn't disappoint, filling in the back stories of Captain Marvel, Nick Fury and briefly Agent Colson (its very brief) The story has you believing that the Kree are the good guys in the beginning, but as Vers/Marvel (Brie Larson) starts to remember things of her past back on earth, that view is flipped on its head. Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) provides the comedic moments as a wise cracking and less serious Fury. It also does a good job of setting the stage for Avengers : Endgame With the now typical extra scene during the films credits. If your a fan of the MCU go and see this movie, you won't be disappointed.
I Give this film 4/5.
(when Stan Lee appeared for what was his last cameo, the whole cinema started applauding)
