the Pro no contest. when you compare 1TB Slim to the Pro, here in UK you pay just £40 extra for a revision that is 2x more powerful. and with supersampling to enhance detail at 1080p and Boost Mode to enhance the framerate stability of non-enhanced games as well, I find it hard to recommend the slim to anybody who doesn't even have a PS4

I have a PS4 slim but only by mistake; I bought mine in a 'Black Friday Sale' some years ago just before the Pro was released. One of the biggest advantages of the Ps4 Pro is the 4K output; I unfortunately do not currently own a 4K TV and my current PS4 is working beautifully well enough so I've not had a reason to buy the Pro BUT, if I had my time again, I would buy the Pro hands down each time. As @Kai said, the console is more powerful, boasts a much bigger internal HDD and offers 4K output... if you don't already own a PS4, buy the Pro
I bought the PS4 Pro cause it was supposedly beefier, but I didn't really see any better performance. Still the same 30fps with occasional fps drops.

I've only played on the Pro at exhibitions and stands and have to admit, other than the 4K output on the Sony stand, didn't notice a huge difference either. On paper the Pro is more powerful than the standard/slim but that may well not translate all that well to 'normal games' that lack native 4K capabilities.
Yeah I dunno, it happens to every game I have. I don't play much since I have a good PC, but ya if it was a constant 30fps, it wouldn't be that big of an issue, but when it keeps dipping to like 22 every few min it ruins the fun for me :c

That's on the devs locking to 30 probably because the OG PS4 can't handle that game in 60fps. then again, I don't really play a lot of photorealistic games so I don't have many games that are capped to 30fps
I think I need to buy a new TV before I buy a PS4 Pro I wasn't aware games were capped to 30fps mind, that does surprise me.
