Hey could I jon in this RP? I can give the character profile most probably at the end of the weekend, but will try to give before.
Also is it okay if I make 2 characters? Thinking about an apprentice and his mistress, so they would probably stay together most of the time.

If you have two characters though, that’s enough to get the Nothern Kingdom characters started too.

Hmm I can do the beastmen as my characters too I guess, but I have a few questions.
Do the snake people have humanoid faces and upper bodies and serpentine lower bodies? The lack of legs might be a little difficult, but they are also the most powerful, so i might try them out.
Are the bird people normal people with wings?

The Snakes People’s Arms are small, but their upper bodies are humanoid which means besides the small arms completely human, elven, etc. Their lower body is serpent at least where they would have legs are. As non-magic users they are weaker, magic is where their strength is. Each of the People have their own strengths. None or stronger than the others.

As for the bird people they have human bodies covered with feathers and a bird’s head normally, but they could certainly have less feathers and a human face.

Occupation: Symbolist
Abilities: (These are basically the items she makes.)
•Miniature Symbolism - With the combination of a strict mind and a steady hand, she is able to carve or draw extremely small symbols on to tiny objects to create more mobile and also powerful items. She also uses the aid of a magnifying eye lens to do so.

•Symbol Intergration- She writes symbols on small glass phials, flasks or small pieces of material, then puts a fluid or fine powder with no magical properties in it to gradually absorb the magical energy of the carved item. The final fluid or powder is much more versatile in use, but is usually much more weaker than the original product. Varying strengths of power depends on the used solute and time kept to integrate, and it is necessary to switch out the original material periodically, when the magic energy is used up. It is a very long process to obtain a proper product, and is mostly used for healing items.

•Volatile Symbolic Item- This type of item activates its symbolic magic when a certain action is done to it eg: Burning, Adding water etc. It can be quite dangerous and useful in battling, but it is necessary not to set it off incorrectly.

•Command Symbolic Item- This type of item activates its symbolic magic when a command word or phrase is said in close proximity. The command word is usually not of normal languages, but symbolic ones. (Sometimes made-up words are used.) It can be configured to activate when the right person or group of people say it.

•Area Symbols- This type of symbols are usually used to protect buildings and areas, but take a considerable amount of time to do so. A variety of stuff can be done with this, to activate when people enter the assigned area.

Abilities: The usual that comes with being a gifted Mystic and Symbolist.

I’m limiting characters to one occupation and I’d like your key abilities listed.

Btw that means they can't use other forms of magic if they choose one? I thought that the northern magic occupations would be compatible with each other since they are sort of limited.
