Lightbulb Is Top wo nerae! Gunbuster worth watching?

I was looking for something interesting to watch and realised I haven't watched this 'classic'. It's not on any streaming service I can find so I was wondering, Is it worth watching? To track it down could be a real pain, so is it that good? (Btw, if you have any recommendations on where to watch it, I would be very grateful)

I've only a vague memory of hearing that title sometime in the past.

Esoteric anime are often a pain in the ass to get, especially if they're older.

It was Hideaki Anno's (Evangelion, Cutie Honey, Love and Pop) first OVA. I think I'll try and watch it anyway.
