Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

@unoduetre Akkun to Kanojo, Asobi Asobase, Backstreet Girls, Banana Fish, Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro, Emiya-san chi no Kyou no Gohan, Free!, HSL, Harukana Receive, Hataraku Saibou, Jashin-chan Dropkick, Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi, Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes, Pokemon Sun and Moon, and Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san. I was watching a few more but dropped them.

Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

@Nocchi Nice. I've already dropped most of these (I usually do ~3 episode test). I'm watching Happy Sugar Life, Asobi Asobase, Satsuriku no Tenshi (I might drop it soon), Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san (mostly for boobs). I'll also watch FLCL Progressive when subs appear and Full Metal Panic Invisible Victory (when I rewatch the previous ones). I haven't seen Emiya-san chi no Kyou no Gohan, Pokemon Sun and Moon. I've already dropped the other ones.

From the ones I haven't seen, is this one good?

@Momogari If you're asking me as well (I'm not sure) Akkun to Kanojo seemed too simple for me. I dropped it after 1 episode. I've already told you about Jashin-chan no Dropkick. It has this yonkoma episodic feeling to it and I like plots. I only watch Asobi Asobase because the jokes are good, otherwise I'd have dropped it. I don't think Jashin-chan no Dropkick's jokes are good enough to watch it.

Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

      @unoduetre @Momogari

Akkun to Kanojo is okay, it's tsundere love (but the guy's the tsun), I'm not a fan of tsunderes but I can handle this one plus it's only 3 minutes per episode, so worth giving it a shot!

Emiya-san chi no Kyou no Gohan is a short episode too, roughly 10-15 minutes per episode. It's a spin off of Fate/Stay but it's more slice of life and about cooking, I really enjoy this one cos I love cooking so it's nice to learn recipes from here!

Jashin-chan no Dropkick is actually not too bad! I wish they didn't censor the gore as much haha, I do feel like it's gone a bit down hill a tiny bit, but it's probably cos I'm comparing it to the other comedy shows in the same season.

Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

@unoduetre No worries! I do think if you like Asobi, you should give Chio-chan another go if you've dropped it already, I personally think it's the better comedy show between the two but if you didn't like Nichijou then it's understandable!

Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

Oh, I do have a terrible memory. I forgot I asked about it already.

Simple is sometimes fine with me, and I do like tsundere, but hmm I usually don't like shorts. Without quantity how am I to kill time lol

Hmm maybe I'll try Jashin-chan Dropkick after all. I'm not too into comedy but if you say it's not bad maybe it'll be somewhat entertaining to me.

Nocchi are you an anime veteran too?

Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro does look pretty fun from what I've seen on social media.

Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

@Momogari If it helps, it's got 19 episodes already haha! Sometimes I like watching shorts, ya gal needs a break every now and then from watching 20 minute episodes haha.

Uhhh, I'd say I was a Veteran due to watching it from a young age, but probably not anime wise, I've watched around 400 anime shows? But I find that's nothing compared to others!

Chio-chan is hilarious! I prefer it to Asobi but they're both good in Comedy!

Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

@Nocchi Chio-chan is a bit too slapsticky for me and the humour is less mature than in Asobi, I think. Asobi's humour is more verbal + all these great innuendos. It's probably individual taste.

      That's a yes.

lol most of AL is lightweight. I've seen between 400 and 500 and I call myself a veteran. Sure there's more experienced, but most anime fans I've met in my lifetime don't watch as much as this.

Chio-chan, just from social media, reminds me of Nichijou, which I really liked a lot. Nichijou might be my favorite pure comedy.

Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

@unoduetre Oh that's fair enough! I get what you mean, I do like Asobi but sometimes I feel a little bored watching it

@Momogari Oh, for real?! I had no idea, I assumed most people here have watched alot more than me judging through a thread, that's a nice title to have haha!
Yup, it's definitely like Nichijou, I think if you like that, you'll 100% like this, it's an adventure every episode on the way to school!

Re: Weekly Anime Watching Circle - Organisational Issues

Yeah Asobi Asobase wasn't my favorite type of comedy either.

I hella love puns though. Tadakoi had some good puns.

Oh, I'm happy you like Tadakoi. :-) I like it mostly because it's very gentle and slow. The characters are quite good as well. And the art style. DID I MENTION THE ART STYLE?!!!
