      Accepting Fandom Panel/Workshop Applications

IF possible we already have PLENTY of cosplay panels - so anime, gaming and geek panels are far more likely now to be accepted.[/u][/b]

We're all about the community, so we invite people to come and take some stage time and run an event, workshop or panel.

What's the typical content length and type?

      - 30 minute panel/event is the typical we will provide, though for more involved we may allow 50 minutes.
      - You can do a panel or an event.
      - Panel/Talk: Talk about your interest or impart your knowledge to other attendees.
      - Event: Use your imagination. At Alcon we saw a Cosplay Courtroom, whereby cosplayers debated issues! All we ask is that it's not an event that Alcon is already running.

      How Can I Apply?

Please fill in this form and reply in this topic -

      Title of Activity:
      Event or Panel:
Length Required (from min to max, be as flexible as possible):
      A Short Description:
Previous Experience: (If you have previous experience at running an event or giving a talk, list it here, if not leave this blank)
We look forward to seeing your submissions!

      1. Ultimate Werewolf
      2. Event
      3. At least half an hour. Game length varies depending on the number of players.
      4. Ultimate Werewolf is a game of deception, intrigue and investigation. During the night phase the werewolves and other baddies kill off the villagers(who close their eyes during this part), and in the day phase the villagers vote to lynch a player who they suspect of being a werewolf. The game ends when the villagers are outnumbered, or when all the baddies are dead.
      5. I've run games like this before at parties, running one on this scale should be a fun challenge.

If we use the set the game comes with then we can have a maximum of 50 players, but I can improvise and make a custom setup if more people want to play.

I was inspired by the thought of the cosplay courtroom. Not sure if this kinda thing is what you were looking for, but I think it would be hilarious to see people staying in character while they debate who the killers are.

We actually do a Werewolf Live on Stage by out Tabletop Team, but if you want to do one yourself we're happy for you to be involved I'll have to check if the tabletop team are doing it at this convention first

      Pitch one
Yakuza in and out of fiction.
This would be a 50-minute panel but I can shorten it.
A look into both the real Yakuza and there depiction in games/films/anime, ect
I've run the panel at Alcon and at a few other cons
      Pitch 2
      Tezuka, god of manga
Likely would run for 50 mins but I can shorten it
A short history of Tezuka, largely focused on his manga but with a quick look at his anime, life and companies.
I ran the panel at Alcon in the past but the full thing was cut due to scheduling issues.
