We're pleased to confirm that award winning band The Kut shall be performing at London Anime & Gaming Con this 30th June to 2nd July. They will be a part of our extensive live band and performer lineup for the event.
Inspired by bands like Deftones, L7, Hole, Incubus, Placebo, Nirvana, Faith No More and others, The Kut are a London rock trio with a great live show. Having been voted into in the winning spots for MTV UK Brand New Unsigned Poll for 2014, their current single 'NO TRACE' was produced by James LeRock Loughrey (Skindred / White Zombie / My Vitriol / Lionel Richie / Manic Street Preachers / Page & Plant / Bjork / Def Leppard). ‘No Trace’ is is dark and emotive track taken from the forthcoming ‘Makeup’ EP, due for release this summer.
Previous shows include London 2012 Olympics and the Paralympics. Other noteworthy shows include performances at various UK festivals and a sold out UK tour - 'The Love Hate Vampire Shotgun System Circus Tour'. In 2013 the band performed DJ sets for Kerrang! Klub, London and a string of 14 dates on the Club Criminal tour.
The band’s ‘Closure’ music video was playlisted on Sub TV, Tuune, NME TV (Radar), and the Bongo Boy Rock n Roll show, on 6 USA cable channels, Comcast Cable, CableVision, Time Warren Cable, RCN, and FiOS.
In the last month, new music video 'No Trace' has spent 3 weeks in the Scuzz Most Wanted Rock Chart, alongside acts such as Paramore, Architects, You Me At Six, as well as playlisted on their 'All-Stars of Rock Show'. The single has also been and championed by Alex Baker on Kerrang! Radio and picked up by BBC Introducing in Lancashire and Oxford, with the band already booked in for a live recording on BBC Introducing, recorded in Blackburn. Across the pond, ‘No Trace’ has also been playlisted on Putpat TV (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) with a number of USA stations also including the track on their playlists.
