Unfortunately, due to low ticket sales we have taken the decision to postpone Glasgow Anime & Gaming Con (May 6-7th) until 2018.
We apologise for this, but the numbers of attendance would not have been good to put on an event of the quality that we want and that you deserve. If you have made payment for tickets (including Supporting Membership and T-Shirts), you will be refunded in full without any admin fee within the next five working days - please let us know if you do not receive it.
If you have signed up to help us flyer, we will still honour this and send you a T-Shirt. Please email email@example.com with your address and size, and we'll post it out to you.
Regarding our other events - we'd like to reassure you that all our other events are 100% going ahead and are doing well in terms of sales. Some of our events such as Manchester and London are at record levels of sales, while others such as Bristol are set to sell out and every other event including Alcon is doing perfectly fine. Unfortunately, Glasgow is a brand-new event in a region that we're unfamiliar with and has proven too difficult a step at this stage for us, which is why we have taken the decision to postpone and build this area up first.
Again, we apologise for any inconvenience. We hope that this does not put you off from attending future events and indeed Glasgow Anime & Gaming Con when it does go ahead later than planned in 2018. You can view a full calendar of all our other 2017 events here - http://www.animeleague.net/forum/content.php?836
If you have any questions or concerns then please don't hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org

I considered a road trip to Glasgow to check it out. Good thing I didn't.
At least you guys can now focus on your other thriving cons.
We can still have a roadtrip to Edinburgh/Glasgow.
