If you check out: http://www.animeleague.net/forum/sho...mp-Information it says that all rooms will be designated quiet rooms. Which means that generally bringing speakers into rooms and continuing to party, will be most unwelcome. I'm saying this because personally, I need sleep. I am one hell of a grumpy bitch if I don't get enough sleep each night. One suspects that you might be okay in the common room, do bare in mind that there are other people staying in the hostel, so don't play it out too loud.
Anyone know if we're allowed to bring our own booze to consume? I only ask because the last hostel I stayed in (not this one or anything but still) was not happy with people BYOB
@Deviette You can consume alcohol in the common rooms, so probably at the discretion of the hostel staff to allow you to bring it in. You aren't allowed to drink it back up in the dorm though.

1. Name 's Sebastian, but here in England people just call me Seb. I also react to Fire, Firefox and John (don't ask).
2. I'm from Germany and since September 2016 a Master's student in Plymouth. Used to play video games a lot, but kind of did a 180 with my lifestyle since I came here. Currently, I spend my time with Uni and Gym. It's fun, because gyming is quite similar to competitive gaming and its less laggy (internet suxx here).
3. @Everyone : Imagine you got all the super powers you wanted. What would the world look like after 7 days?
@woostersauce - I don't cosplay. I merely appreciate other peoples work. If I ever would, I'd probably cosplay Draven from League of Legends or someone with a similar character.
@Animated Corpse - I watched mahouka koukou no rettousei. Just finished it, was good.
@Emperor Phillip - Sebastian, but friends call me Seb. At your service.
@Storyteller - Wierd depends on the perspective. From a gamer's perspective wierd: I go to the gym 6/7 and am currently learning Mandarin Chinese. From an average dude's perspective: I like programming, a lot.
@soyouliketekkit - Currently 23. First AnimeCon for me.
@Deviette - procrastinating ... I had to look up that word and I still don't understand the question Sorry!
@DrIndigo - Hopefully meet a friend. I haven't seen her in ... ever? Got to know her over the internet about 1.5 years back. Now I moved to England, so we decided to meet at LAGC (if she can make it that is).
@Joey9 - Coming to London on Friday, leaving Sunday evening. Will stay at the Con as I see fit. I expect it to be awesome though x)
Ha, I'm through. That wasn't so bad. Now allow me to mess with people by asking specific questions:
@STOrryteller - The Force Awakens, Rogue One or both trash? May the force be with you.
@Deviette - I like the avatar picture you chose on this forum. Duno, who or what it is, but it keeps catching my eye. Care to talk about it?
@woostersauce - 8 years of drawing. I am a bit jealous. All I can do is draw a stick figure. Do you just draw for yourself or for the fame of posting it online (or some other place)?
@FirefoxMetzger I've drawn since I was in secondary school actually, just focused on manga and semi-realistic style for 8 years.
I draw for others sometimes if they request. But mainly I draw what I want to draw. I do share it online just for those to appreciate it really. Wouldn't really say there's much fame with my work. I just enjoy creating art and feel a lot happier when others find it meaningful to them too.
Well nice to see some replies lol, common room sounds good too me, and the upper room thing also sounds like a plan, anyone play beer pong cos I got a table and I'm gonna bring it, I don't plan to dance round sleeping people, just wanted to see if there's any like minded people wanting to have some fun, it is after all gonna be like a long weekend getaway. Also were staying on the Thursday as Well so anybody else who is be nice to chat and anybody know if there's parking?
@terrier666 that's awesome, i love playing beer pong, that will be sweet
First of all, they've misspelled my name.
Secondly, I have paid, but they're saying I haven't?
Can someone please tell me what's going on?
Has anyone here been in the hostels before? If so what are they like?

@The 8lue Ace
what transport is everyone using to get between the hostel and convention? i'll be using an Oyster card on the bus as it's cheaper than the tube and i don't drive
I will be cosplaying Light Yagami from Death Note, any other Death Note fans here?
I like death note.
The walks to the tube stations are pretty short, and the tube is very regular, so that's my choice.
I'll probably be getting taxis for a bunch of it, though, as I'll likely be there at strange hours.
@Chlobo woohoo another fan, what do you like best about the story?
@MissPurple if you get an Oyster card for £5 the bus to the hostel runs all the way up to 4am and is only £1.50 a journey
I like the characters like Misa and L.
I've put £30 on my oyster card will that be enough for the week?

Tube is £1.80, IIRC. I usually split the taxi fare quite a few ways so it's not extortionate.
I personally prefer the convenience, and I have the money to do make the journeys, but it's really a personal choice at that point.
Cheers for letting me know about the bus though, that's good to know!
