What game(s) are you currently playing? How far have you gotten?
Just been playing Akinofa on Xbox, and getting some achievements (I'm now on top of the leader board on 635 points so far this month, I only need to die another twice for 50 more points)

The world of well, me basically!
Been Xboxing all day, completing missions and achievements on Gotham Knights (and despite the fact the game got bombed in reviews last October, it doesn't suck! 30 fps non-issue? Cry me a flippin' river!) I've also been trying the total fail that is contacting work about various meetings and other s...

First Aid course, preferably free, in the Sheffield, England area?
Above. I've used Google, most of the popular courses are too expensive, I spoke to the British Red Cross yesterday, bloke quoted me £155 for a course. Without telling me to use Google (and now they probably will do) can anyone recommend a good, preferably free course in the Sheffield or South Yorksh...

Movie - Renfield trailer
It might be good, but does anyone remember Peter McNicol as Renfield in Dracula: Dead and loving it? Starring the late Leslie Nielsen as Dracula? It was a comedy retelling of the original Dracula story. Also, I can't remember his name but there was this other bloke who played the role well in "Young...

Which browser do you use?
What do you use on your PC or phone to browse/post on here and stuff? Vote in t'poll and discuss. I used to hate Google Chrome after about 17 years of using Internet Explorer, but I've kind of got used to it, despite the annoying 2 step verification the rare times I change or forget my Google passwo...

Feeling a lot better, not coughed all day, I've even managed to do a song on a Karaoke site I use, The Carnival Is Over (by the late Judith Durham, died towards the end of last year sadly, she wasn't that old either)

New Year
2023 didn't start very well for me! Health problems, hearing aid problems, and a slightly scary message on Facebook on Monday night from some fool who knows where I live.
And before you ask, no I haven't informed the Plod, as it wasn't a direct threat so the Bizzies won't do owt.

Steam on Ubuntu box? (Kind of gaming related)
You can always check on the steam store which games will just run on linux without any issues. Its in Store -> Categories -> Special Sections -> SteamOS + Linux. If its there you can just install and play and wont have to deal with WINE or QEMU I'll get him to have a look, there's a few bits I'm in...

Steam on Ubuntu box? (Kind of gaming related)
Yeah, Steam has a native linux client. I think Ubuntu has a software install center thingy where you can get it or just apt install steam. While steam works, most games don't have linux support so you'd have to run them in QEMU kvm or WINE which takes a bit more fiddling about, but isn't too diffic...
