Plus it gives you that extra time to practice, my brown belt test should be April off next year, that being said I'll be in Japan in March and as a result I'll be missing lessons, but hey at least I'll be in the birthplace of Karate. Oh and it's going to be humid, I'm definitely not looking forward ...

Awesome stuff. My 3rd kyu (brown belt) test won't be until April/May next year. I'll be doing 3 kata too, Pinan Sandan, Jurokuno and Ananku, plus other things that make up the 3rd kyu syllabus

I'm in work until 6pm and then I've got 2 days off (booked off from work) as its my birthday tomorrow. I'll be looking at getting an itinerary sorted for my trip to Japan (Okinawa) in March, so me and my cousin will be doing that, might order a Japanese phrase book too in preparation for my holiday...

So I've booked my trip to Okinawa
will do indeed. I've even got my first lot of yen through. Really am so excited, I'm especially looking forward to seeing the historical sites linked with Karate. Need to brush up on my Japanese and quite possibly my Uchinaaguchi
