I played quite a bit of UFC2 but the grappling system always bothered me.

Biggest disappointment? The way Konami treated Hideo Kojima

There's an excellent game on the PSX/1 called Rival Schools never got the recognition it deserved also Bloody Roar was of the same generation and was superb. If you have access to an old school console or emulator I highly recommend both of these.

Is there still hype for this game? I've not seen anything about it for a long while

Any of the debuff moves like Screech/Roar etc. Their effects are so negligable they are almost never worth using
