Does anyone know if I can use a Sheffield Tram pass in Manchester?

Above. Seeing as our trip up to Leeds yesterday went a bit Pete Tong, our next "Grand Adventure", which will require Military planning, is to visit the Corrie tour in Manchester. According to a map on the website, there's a Tram stop at the Imperial War Museum which is literally across the road from...

Yep. That's the one.

I've just Googled the website, and looked at the price list at the Bar, well seeing as I refuse on principle to pay more than 3 quid a Pint, even at Town prices, I won't be going.

Your favourite anime opening/ending theme tunes?

Not sure if it counts, but I've been in love with Chun Li's stage theme in all the Street Fighter games since SF II Turbo on the SNES 31 years ago.

Has anyone seen the original Akira?

Above.

Many years ago it was shown on BBC 2 one Saturday night, quite good I thought, I then bought it on Blu Ray.

Set in a Dystopian future Neo-Japan.

It's a small friendly Gaming Bar, used mostly by Uni Students.

Ah yeah is it the one at the bottom of Angel St, opposite Snig Hill cop shop? Been past it on the Bus many a time.

Anything happening for Halloween in Sheffield in October?

I'll check the date, but I think there is a Cosplay Night at Meltdown sometime close to Halloween. Thanks but if it's in a Nightclub on a Saturday night, that's a BIG no, nor would Dad let me. Also, due to the distinct possibility of Train strikes imminently, I've just had to request a refund on th...

Warning for folk planning to attend out of Town comic cons in the next month!

Above. Apparently, despite the fuel strike being called off as of last week, the Train Drivers Union are threatening to go on strike over pay and conditions, this affects me as I have 2 out of Town cons to attend next month, Barnsley on the 16th, Lincoln on the 22nd. I will contact Northern Trains s...

I had a blast as well, and took a ton of photos and videos.

It'll probably be about Brazilian Jujitsu. Afterall, they did one about Kung Fu and called at Karate Kid.

Most people slated the 2010 remake, I quite enjoyed it, Jackie Chan's quite old now but I don't think he looks it.

Anything happening for Halloween in Sheffield in October?

Above. I'm attending a Comic Con in Lincoln on the 22nd of October, been going every year since 2019, but I wondered if there was any dressing up opps a bit closer to Home? They used to do an event called Fright Night in Town, with rides and stalls and stuff up to 2 or 3 years back, I guess the Coun...

Disney Dreamlight Valley (2022)

I've been playing it when we got back from a LONG day in Leeds.

Nice and relaxing, I know that at 46 I'm probably a bit old for a Disney game, but this is pretty cool actually.

That and I've been in love with Belle from Beauty and the Beast since 1994.

Has anyone played Deathloop on Xbox yet?

According to Google it didn't actually launch till about 45 minutes ago even though the release date, when I preordered it last week, said today.

Apparently it's got doable achievements.

Looking forward to playing it tomorrow.

Anyone else?

What your plans for today

Trip up to Leeds to attend the Royal Armouries. That's great. We go several times a year. Bonus news - there's a Con there 18th Feb 2023. We might try and get to that. However, this morning we went all the way up to Leeds on the 10.45 from Sheffield, arrived just under an hour later, went and check...

Does anyone know a good preferably free website/domain name host that's UK based?

I did have a domain name and a very basic Photography website but the hosting expired last week, and I can't afford to renew it.
