Favourite Character and Anime

For favorite character and anime, do you mean just one? Sorry, I can't choose one. There is too much good anime and great characters. I will list some that I really love though. For shows, I love Ranma 1/2 (with my avatar, obviously), Nadia Secret of the Blue Water, origianl Dragonball, Fruits Baske...

Did anyone use the Anime Cafe Forum back in the day?

I wish I knewn what happened to Blood Soaked Ronin. I wish the Cafe forum was still up. Don't get me wrong, mods and admins, Anime League is a great forum, but I still have nostalgia.

Yes it was the first forum I ever used and stayed a member of.

I was Ikit Claw.

Ikit Claw! Dang, that name sounds familiar. I don't suppose you remember me.

A Call out to Fantasy Artist for an Unusual Fantasy Graphic Novel

While there would certainly be interest for such a novel I doubt it would be for anything other than the nudity. Sure you could write an interesting story to such a setting that would entice a niche audience, but... I don't think the fantasy setting would really work. A place where you have adventu...

Did anyone use the Anime Cafe Forum back in the day?

The very first forum I ever used was the Anime Cafe forum, back in the early 2000s. That forum is long gone, but my memories remain. Theh page is still up though. This is what I'm talking about. https://www.abcb.com/index.htm

Did anyone on this page ever use that forum?

Recommend me a good obscure anime

Recommend me an obscure anime. I don't care about the decade, if it's new or it's old. Just recommend me a good obscure anime. My recommendation is Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water. It's a great science fiction anime inspired by Jules Verne 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and is criminally underrated.

A Call out to Fantasy Artist for an Unusual Fantasy Graphic Novel

A call out to artists. I'm working on a graphic novel series that takes place in a fantasy setting with kingdoms, magic, and mythological creatures, and has a lead character who's from a society in which people live naked. I am trying to show mainstream society that nudity isn't dirty or inherently ...

I have started a publication about the intellectual side of gaming

I have started Philosophical Gamer on Medium. It's a publication where I explore video and computer games from an intellectual and philosophical perspective. So far, I have four articles published. I plan to concentrate so I can write and publish more. In other words, I am going to be picking up the...

Re: Does Nintendo hate fair use?

every company probably hates fair use but the trend went towards streaming your games so they started to allow people to post their media online and some haven't a good way to look at this: you can screencap and even record current gen systems, but streaming services like hulu and netflix have DRM ...

Does Nintendo hate fair use?

Fair use, at least in America, states that you can use some screenshots, segments of film, and images for educational and review purposes. So what's this? Does Nintendo hate fair use?

Re: Unpopular Opinion: As a FF VII fan, I don't care about the remake.

So your saying you wish time would stop and nothing innovative or new would ever occur again? Or are you saying you want original ideas and no more recreating of them? Are you an anti-technologist? I don't know where you got the idea that I don't want innovation. There are plenty of new games that ...

Unpopular Opinion: As a FF VII fan, I don't care about the remake.

I don't care about the Final Fantasy VII remake, even though FF VII is one of my favorite JRPGs. I feel like the original 1997 version, though dated, has such a charm to it. And no, I didn't play the original version back when it was released. I played it in the mid 2000s, when graphics were already...

Re: Why I prefer console games over computer games (though that might change)

I never really have trouble with computer games and I prefer Final Fantasy on my computer because I can't figure out the controller on my ps4. I did once have a problem with LOL, but I found out my antivirus was blocking it, sometimes that is the cause or a missing driver that you don't know you di...

Why I prefer console games over computer games (though that might change)

Am I just an idiot? I wouldn't be surprised if I was. I have always had a hard time installing computer games onto my computer. Right now I am having a hard time installing StarCraft II Battle Chest onto my computer. I can't get it to run. When I try contacting Blizzard, there is no contact number f...
