If we waited 1 week, would it change anything?
I will add the steps later after we all agree.
What do you think?
Yup, But is it something bad? I like apples. :D
I did some random checks and most of it is silent, but there are some interesting pieces of music here and there. :)
Oh, wait. Amazon has Jicama SEEDS, my mistake. So I'll probably use sour apples instead, as suggested by you. We need to buy them for the rice anyway.
Ha ha. I called it moe noir. ;)
Yeah, I think it's modeled on the American ones.
Do all the ingredients above look available?
Baked rice with apples
1 glass of white long grain rice (the usual kind)
500ml (or 2...
You can measure in glasses/cups or handfuls, that's fine.
Burgers made of black lentils with dried plums (prunes).
1 glass of dried black/beluga lentils (with hulls) (NOT BLACK GRAM, NOT URAD, you can substitute dried green...
OK, so I think we've decided. I'll post the recipes for the burgers and for the rice here and you can post the one for the salad when you work out the proportions.
Of course we need Teeny's...
The baked rice recipe is somehow sweet. Are you happy with that? I know some people prefer not to mix sweet stuff with non-sweet stuff, but I don't mind.
OK, what about baked rice with apples etc.? I have a recipe for that as well.
The narial chawal recipe I have uses coconut shreds. This is something available in the baking section usually. Is it available for you?
If you don't like the idea of the coconut rice, I have some...
I usually use apple vinegar because I have a jug of it. :P So I'll probably use this. But besides that, sounds good.
Can I use canned sweet corn?
Which type of cabbage?
It's fine. It's 1 day delivery on Amazon.
OK, cool. Do you like coconut? If yes, we can make nariyal chawal (a rice dish) as a far as rice is concerned.
Jicama is probably not available in any local store, but it's quick to get on Amazon it seems.
I have Asian and European local stores where I live.
OK, let's not do the normal one.
What about not eating the burger with a bun etc. at all.
Let's eat it separately together with rice with some spices (I have some recipes) and a salad.
What are some ingredients of the "normal" burger?
What do you mean?
Let's start with something simple, relatable, yet surprising maybe?
What do you think about a burger made of black lentils with dried plums? I can translate the recipe in a minute, if...
Any ethnic food around? Jewish maybe at least? Anything like an ethnic shelf in a supermarket?
Or maybe there is some US food specific to the region you live in?
To be honest, I have no idea. Let's wait and see.
The author can surprise us as well, who knows.
Let's see what ingredients you can get relatively easily, so we can decide.
Do you have any ethnic shops nearby, or it's limited to US food? Any farmer's markets?
A good episode imho.
But there was something interesting after the ED :)
I wish it were less episodic. This ep was average.
There is potential for it to be much better than just another monster of the week show.
I've watched ep. 7.
I think it is possible. The title of this show is Vinland saga. He should start his journey to Vinland at some point. I doubt it gonna be with the current crew, but...
Let's start this!
The final pics and the final comments should be in our journals, but we can choose and discuss the recipe here and share our experiences when preparing it.
Heh, I've seen almost all of the films already. :P
I've finished Fate/Zero some time ago.
I feel compelled to watch more from the Fate universe. ;)
Oh, so I'm not the only person who watched MIX :-)
