    Re: Have you seen it?

    Yes. It's a beautiful anime.

    Have you seen Blood+?
  2. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

    Yeah, that's a good addition. :)
  3. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

    Oh!

Another category: "Minced teenagers in cockpits"
  4. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

There were dying children there, but babies? I don't remember. Were there any dead babies?

Re: Anyone into long running anime series?

I don't watch Sazae-san. ;) I just felt internal pressure to say that.
  6. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

Or "dying babies". Do you know any anime matching this? ;)
  7. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

    Momogari

Yeah, instead of genres we can use some funny things e.g. "drinks" with Akikan as a member..
  8. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

I also vote against the feel-good movies category. I don't understand what is in this category.
  9. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

If you add these we'll have all. :P
  10. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

Other missed genres: comedy, harem/reverse harem, police and mystery, psychological, sport, horror and thriller, historical/samurai/martial arts
  11. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

There are not many s-f anime, but it's a solid genre.
  12. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

And also the RPG-based anime should be on the list I suppose.
  13. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

    Momogari

I think artistic and unconventional can be one group.
  14. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

I won't argue. I only want to say: WHAT?
  15. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

OK, let's keep the mecha/non-mecha distinction. I also think it's enough and the difference is more clear than between hard and soft.
  16. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

    Momogari

    WTF are feel-good movies?
  17. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

    Momogari

I usually see a clear distinction between hard and soft s-f, but let's see what other people think.
  18. Re: Anime Watching Club re-opening: Suggest titles

    Momogari

Yeah, I think it'd be good to separate at least traditional fantasy from RPG fantasy.

I think we can split science-fiction into hard and soft.

We should also have a separate...

  25. Re: Last episode you watched (or chapter you read) v3

    Oh, I think I'll watch that. :)
  26. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

    Momogari

Yeah, and that's fine of course.
  27. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

Besides that, especially on the TV, there are too many heroes, good people, happy endings etc. People get used to that and they reject everything that isn't like that. I like that this anime doesn't...
  28. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

I haven't seen it, so I can't say anything about it, but my impression after watching some videos is that the way the story is presented and the way the viewer is supposed to relate to the story is...
  29. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

    No.
  30. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

I think I'll buy the manga.
  31. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

    Ha ha.

It's funny how different our experiences are.

Do you plan to finish it or drop it?
  32. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

It seems like you want to say she's inflexible. But I don't think she is. I'd rather say she's the opposite of inflexibility.
  33. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

Not all of these match though. For example, she is not irresponsible.
  34. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

That's also a trait of psychopathy.

    Here's a list from http://www.minddisorders.com/Flu-Inv/Hare-Psychopathy-Checklist.html

    glib and superficial charm
    grandiose (exaggeratedly high)...
  35. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

    Momogari

She's not omniscient though. You'll see more of that in the later eps.

IMHO, she matches many of the traits of a psychopath. Should we analyse her?
  36. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

    Momogari

I didn't have this experience. The first episodes are a necessary introduction of the characters. The later episodes focus more on the plot development and no new major characters get...
  37. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

    Awful in what sense?
  38. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

    Beware of spoilers!
  39. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

For sensei I have this so far, but that's pretty obvious.

    F65.5 Sadomasochism

A preference for sexual activity which involves the infliction of pain or humiliation, or bondage. If the subject...

    Momogari

    Which episode is it?
  41. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

    Stitchdemon13

    And what're your ideas?
  42. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

I also wonder which of these two is a better match. Or maybe something else?

  43. Re: [GAME] Happy Sugar Life (spoilers, psychologically disturbing content 18+)

It's just a game. No need for effort. And I don't think I qualify as a sensei, lol.

    Here is my take:

Hmm, I think he has both, maybe…

    F43.1 Post-traumatic stress disorder

    Arises as a...

I won't comment about her marketing strategy, but she is a great singer! It's heavily postprocessed though. But there are some live events in the channel as well.

When I look at his works (especially in the first period) I always imagine a story from a different world which matches the moment captured in the painting. It comes so naturally....
