It gets a bad rap because so much of it is badly done.
It's like horror.
Horror is one of my favourite genres, and there is so many that are done badly, it's hard to find anything decent, not just anime, but films too.

I love how much I enjoy video editing. A lot of YouTubers hate video editing because it is long and tedious. If I ever got big, I'd probably also pay someone to do it, so I could upload content and have enough time to watch a varied number of things, so could give a better glance on upcoming anime, ...
