Happy Independence Day to our American friends (4th July)
If you had that english mentality, you'd just celebrate how rubbish everything is.

What game(s) are you currently playing? How far have you gotten?
Tried out the Calyx demo. It is a singleplayer RTS and feels inspired by Creeper World where the enemy always acts the same way. Basically you fight alien nature that spreads across the map and you have to slowly push it back to the spawner and destroy it. Quite slow paced, the enemy is predictable ...

Just get rechargeables mate. Never have to run out to get batteries again cause even if you forget to charge them, they'll be ready in a few hours.

Been playing some Noita. Pretty RNG heavy for getting a successful winning run, but the wand building is a ton of fun. Apparently doing side quests and bosses can take weeks... and its permadeath... so yeah, losing a run that is 20+ hours in is brutal...

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster
the initial DLC like shivering isles is included, they just made more dlc (including some horse armor lmao) Oh, steam says Shivering Isle and Knights of the Nine are only included in the deluxe edition. that's odd, i don't see it on steam like that and in the announcement they said that all previou...

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster
Yeah this is a weird one... rumors have been going around for like half a year and then they just drop it out of nowhere. I don't think they price really makes sense and selling the DLC again in a remaster is kind of a bethesta move... At least it looks pretty neat.... Not buying it at full price, ...

[FILM] Minecraft Movie.
That's not true at all, he's a great actor. The problem is that he can only play 1 character and that character is called "Jack Black".

Spontaneous Minds on Paypal?
Yeah, payment methods have gotten so much better by now that paypal has become rather superfluous. If anything it's another point of failure to add to a transaction.

Got the Crysis remaster bundle... Crysis 1 finished on Delta... I forgot how easy that game was... Also been playing around with the WoW Single-Player Project. Basically WoW, but you run your own server with bots. Quite fun, but the sad part is that these bots are better than 95% of the people who p...

Linux compatible gaming?
Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no. Linux gaming is learning how to use linux, going through forums, checking https://www.protondb.com/ for game compatibility and if you can't be bothered to config most things then you run https://lutris.net/ and hope. If you don't want to learn linux then your...

Has anyone ever made their own Beer?
Well in my professional life I have several breweries as clients. So, naturally I've tried making my own beer. There are 2 options really and you get what you pay for. Option 1: "Cheap and dirty". Basically you get a big 5L jar or something, find a recipe for the type of beer you want to make, prep ...

What's a good fairly cheap Printer to get that also does scanning/copying?
Brother is a good brand. The price isn't bad if you don't need colour printing. If you go too cheap, you'll have to deal with the annoyance of having a cheap printer. HP and Canon are decent if you don't mind the constant babysitting. I rarely have to print anything at home and if I need colour prin...
