[UK] AL North Summer Meet - Leeds 15th August 09

Following earlier discussions with King Jimmeh & other members, the next northern meet will be taking place in Leeds on Saturday 15th August 2009.

It'll be in a similar fashion to the Manchester meets. In the morning we'll go to stores like Forbidden Planet, Travelling Man, HMV, etc before heading for lunch. In the afternoon we can go to the cinema (there's a Vue in the city centre) or go bowling (again in the city centre or at the Hollywood Bowl which is a 5 min bus ride away) then go for a meal in the evening.

There's plenty of choice in restaurants, I know a really nice Japanese restaurant so if people are up for that I can get it booked. There's a good variety of pubs/bars too so if people feel like going for a few drinks later in the day I'll take you to a few that I think you would enjoy

Oh lawds...Count me in, just as long as I don't miss the last train! Lol...but seriously, if we're planing on clubbing at all, then people signing up should at the minimum book a hotel room in advance.

Oh and I agree with Applecore, bowling might make a fun change from cinema and also with CaptCharisma that if we are doing clubbing then hotels/hostels etc need to be sorted in advance so that everyone is sorted. ^^;

Found out Leeds Metropolitan University's Graham House has a youth hostel with rates around 30 pounds a night per person.
