Thank you all for coming! Next ALCL May! [Feedback here!]

I am still in London atm, so am posting from my phone. I will write a lot more when I get back.

Overall, I think the event was really successful. Everyone seemed to leave with smiles on their faces, things mostly went to plan (with a few exceptions I will address when I get home), and our guests were damn awesome.

In total there were 401 attendees to the event over the course of the day. For a club that's amazing.

Anyway, I can confirm we will be looking toward running in early May. I will confirm dates in the next week or two.

Had a great time! Everyone I met was lovely, and although I didn't know anyone before going to this weekend I was really made to feell welcome, which made me happy ^_^ Am really glad it was a success, look forward to the next one (I might be recovered by then XD)

I had an awesome time! Both the cosplay events went well from my side, bar a few minor issues I'll discuss with you later.

I also met lots of cool people I hadn't met before and was only slightly bullied by tall people!

Don't you think May would be a bad idea, considering MCM expo is that month? Alot of people will be saving their money for that?

And if it's early May, there's probably a lot of people (me included) who would need to revise for exams and such.

i'd say april would probably work better as its before expo and i think just before all the exams.

I myself will probably make it eitherway for my first attendance but april would deffo be easier as i'll need the may paycheck just for expo! (as im sure most people will be doing same!)

I'm going to try and get to both. As far as feedback goes, I had a great time and will definately come again. Maybe even this time I'll stay in dorms....

Please dont make it april. Minamicon that month and also will wipe out any chance of me going. Most uni dissertation hand in dates are april. so its the mad rush time for hand in.

If it is early May, try to make it 8th May. That way it will be on the bank holiday weekend, plus it will also be the same day as the Anime All-Nighter (which starts at midnight). That way it would be a convenient date.

This is the likely date, but it largely depends on venue. Those dates would also open up the possibility of a linkup with the all-nighter in terms of cross-promotion.

yeah, please dont make it the first weekend, i'll cry XD im away till the 3rd

I can think of only 1 or 2 things that are really needed xD, but I belive I've already told you about them but I'll list them anyways

1) A big sign for the sign up table (Seriously, the ammount of questions on were it was, was unbeliveable lol)
2) Someone to change shifts with the doormen since I belive they could use a brake once in awhile~ or at least someone to get them a drink xD~
3) Spoke to some of the dealers and a light in the dark corner? Saw the dealer there having some trouble trying to look through some of the boxs with I belive to be books in them? but as said you cant magic a light up out of no were lol.

Apart from that I'll be continueing asking people about the event as well and editing my post as needed~

THIS! especialthe doorman work. poor hazard didnt even sign up for it, but got roped in all day anyway. at least he got a staff badge

Every single event we have usually solved most issues reported for the next one. Those suggestions we are going to be looking into fixing. The lack of lighting we are looking at the possibility of buying some lights.
