Ninjas v Pirates at Alcon. Which Side will YOU Join?

This idea has been under wraps and top-secret for sometime. I am now delighted to announce it to all of our con-goers. Yes, Ninjas and Pirates SHALL be doing battle for Alcon's very soul next month. Who will win? YOU will decide.

Become a Pirate or Ninja!

When you register for Alcon, you will have the option of joining either the Pirates or Ninjas. You will then be given a bandana to wear to indicate what team you are on (red for ninjas, and white for pirates). Naturally, you will be welcome to draw on the bandana (ie: skull and crossbones for pirates if you wish, or a ninja symbol etc). Well drawn bandanas will earn your side extra points.

Help your side to Victory!

Wearing your bandana will make you officially represent your side and eligible to pick up points for it. Points will be awarded for winning contests, helping out, and so forth. At the end of each day we tally together the points and announce which side is in the lead. The winner will be announced in the Closing Ceremony on the Sunday.

The prize for winning? Alcon 2007's soul. For, Alcon in the year of 2007 will forever be known as a Pirate Convention, or a Ninja Convention. Which one will it have been?

Traitors in the midst!

At any point in the convention, you can defect to the other team! Simply go to ops, hand in your old bandana and collect a new one!

Recruiting squads will be going around to create more pirates or ninjas. Be afraid, be very afraid!

So, who will be leading the teams? Give a hand to DarkNeko (Lisa Buck), who will be the Ninja Mistress, and Ash (Warren Fairbairn) who will be the Pirate King!
