Friday & Saturday Night LazerQuesting - Q's & Discussion

This year's Lazer-Questing will take place on Friday night and Saturday night at the nearby Lazer Quest Megazone. You can view full details on it here.

We will be hiring out the entire centre between 10pm and 1am for a series of lock-in games. Up to 39 people can be in the game at once.

The idea will be that everyone will be divided into two groups. Each group will have 39 people in it. These groups then take turns to go in.

For example -

10pm-10:30pm - Group 1 LQing
10.30pm-11.00pm - Group 2 LQing
11.00pm-11.30pm - Group 1 LQing

And so forth. This gives everyone half an hour of running around followed by half an hour to relax, have a few drinks and chill out around the arcades which are in the centre.

Cost per person is £6.

On the day itself, you meet us outside of the Campus Centre no later than 9.15pm. From there we will take the entire group over to the LazerQuest centre for the fun.

Edit: Due to very popular demand, the price for this is rising from £5 to £6. If you've already down for lazerquest then you won't be affected provided you pay by April 30th. Any new registrations from 17th Feb 2pm onward will pay the LQ at £6.

if it gets really hot in there then there goes my plans for doing it in cosplay but ah well dont want to ruin a perfectly good costume with sweat or anything

Does this include the complimentry 30 min walk around leiscter asking 35+ people if they know where were going? lol

I agree, take a drink i didnt learn and was knackered and dieing for a drink both times >_< some reason i didnt think to bring money either of the times i went lol

I have a question; on the registration sheet I didn't tick to attend a Lazerquest for me OR my sister because I didn't know if we'd have time/be up for it. Would we still be able to attend a Lazerquest? (obviously if spots for it are still available)

Yeah, all you have to do is e-mail info@alcon.org.uk and provide your full names and your badge names so we can locate you on the list, and state what day(s) you want to go~ Then we'll update you on the list and send you an updated invoice.

ah right fair enough, i'll see what i'll be cosplaying as there i have a rough idea but nothing confirmed as of yet so who knows what i'll do
